The real question is.... why are we made imperfect and then punished and/or made to suffer for those imperfections that he created us with?! We are meant to suffer for being what he created us to be..... imperfect beings. According to most religions, we are to spend our lives trying NOT to be what we were created to be just to win favor with god. What kind of crap is that?
god creates us imperfectly, but we have to strive to be perfect for him? Why can't he just accept everyone the way they are? the way they were created?

I believe you are talking from a Hindu standpoint, by your name and your question. Perhaps meaning the suffering in India?
Christians have a view of God that He is not mean or ungenerous. There is another power at work according to the Bible and that is Satan. And Satan is the one that makes us suffer.
However, suffering is meant to bring one closer to God and find comfort in Him. We also learn lessons from suffering. The world was never meant to be a place that was easy or not have suffering. In the Christian Bible, there will be no suffering, pain, or disease after death.
What I want YOU to know personally, is that I pray for the people in this world who are suffering. People all over the world, including in the United States, have their own suffering.
I pray for those people, too.

Look up the word "gave" in the Bible, and you will see that God is constantly giving, and almost aways in the positive sense. Man is the problem, and who need to change, not God.
(Eccl 7:29) "Lo, this only have I found, that God hath made man upright; but they have sought out many inventions."
(Rom 5:12) "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:"
(1 John 4:10) "Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins."
(1 John 4:14) "And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world."
Man was created with the capacity to know the Living and True God, but sin separates you from your Creator, who is Holy, Just and Good, and who has given us good things and good laws for our benefit. But we have misused His good things, and broken His good laws, thereby dishonoring God, and hurting ourselves and that which is under our influence. In this lost and sinful condition, you vainly seek lasting fulfillment and security in temporal, created things, rather than your Creator, who alone is Perfect, Almighty and Eternal. In addition, if you die in your sins, you cannot enter Heaven but will experience everlasting sorrow, weeping and torment in the Lake of Fire (Mt. 8:12; 13:42; 25:41,46; Rv. 14:11; 21:8, 27)!
The Only Way to be reconciled to God and escape HELL, and know and enjoy God now and forever, is through His Only Begotten Son, sent from the Father to save you from your sins (1Jn. 4:10,14). It is He Who came down from Heaven to live a completely benevolent, sacrificial and sinless life, showing you what God is like in His righteousness, holiness, truth and mercy. Then, after doing everything right, it is He Who died for you, paying for your sins with His own sinless blood, and rose again alive.
It is this Jesus Who now reigns in Heaven as your Present Savior (if you accept Him) and Future Judge (1Pt.3:18-22), and to Whom you will answer to for rejecting Him!
To be saved you must decide now in this life that you really want the Jesus Christ (not sin), and humbly pray to Him to save you, a sinner, receiving the Lord Jesus into your life. Only in so doing can you know His forgiveness and receive His Holy Spirit (Rom. 10:9-13; Eph. 1:7,13) - and follow Him despite persecutions or trials.
Praise the Lord!

We are suffering through our own choice. We attract our experiences unto ourselves through the law of attraction. God put us here to experience life. S/he gave us the free will to make our own choices and will not interfere with that free will. Our world is of our own making. If you don't like it, start with yourself and start changing yourself.
"You must be the change you wish to see in the world." - Mahtama Gandhi

We create our own suffering...we should take responsibility and climb out ourselves instead of blaming others for not fixing our problems for us.

You must not be American. There is no need to put THE in front of His name, as is done in other languages.
He is not mean, nor is He ungenerous.
God is not Santa Claus or a magic genie. You have to work for the things you need and want.

Because there is no such thing!
Although no doubt you will get the same old "he gives us freedom, it;s up to us how we use it blah blah blah"
Seems to me if he can't do alot it's pointless to keep praying to him, how many more wars and deaths do we need to go through?
People keep saying "he's coming back" but he sure is cutting it fine.
