Best Pro-AGW sites
Spencer Weart's "The Discovery of Global Warming" is well written and explains the pro-AGW side well.

Real Climate is a website paid for by a PR company but it boasts some people with scientific backgrounds. Although one of them is Michael Mann and he has been pretty thoroughly discredited for hiding information that was contrary to his conclusions. The big problem with RealClimate is that it is a public relations site. If you ask a question or make a statement they do not like or cannot answer, they will censor your question or statement.

James Annan is respected among the warmers for his work in climate sensitivity.

Best Anti-AGW websites
Stephen McIntyre's blog. McIntyre and McKitrick are the ones who discredited Michael Mann. McIntyre continues to audit climate research and to fight to get climate researchers to turn over their data, methods and code so their results can be checked. Every time McIntyre gets the information he wants, he finds errors that discredit the conclusions.

"Kyoto protocol bases on flawed statistics" is a science magazine article on how McIntyre discredited Michael Mann.

Roger A. Pielke's blog is exceptionally high quality. He recently retired from writing it but it is still available on the net. I believe he has written more peer-reviewed climate papers than any other climate scientist.

Anthony Watts is leading the effort to document the quality of surface stations. His website is extremely important and has been in the news quite a bit.
http://surfacestations.org
Perhaps not as fun to read, but a wealth of information is the listing of peer-reviewed papers written by John Christy. Christy is one of the experts on satellite temps.

This one is by far the best. Objective, scientific, lots of pictures and links.
http://profend.com/global-warming/
Nice graph, with explanation and references. Best really small site.

This one deals with the usual arguments of "skeptics".

These are also good.

"climate science from climate scientists"
This is the best information available, and quite advanced. It's very long and takes Adobe Acrobat to read. Download one chapter of your choice and give it a try.

summarized at:

Opinion on Ron C's stuff.
My sites are better for the mainstream. Wearts stuff is OK, but basically just history. For the "skeptics":
Mcintyre is OK. He tends to find minor issues with global warming science (see he discussion of Mann at the end) and claim they're sweeping refutations.
Pielke is interesting. His science is well worth reading (although I think he's wrong). His opinions on the IPCC - not so much.
Watts stuff has been refuted by the data, showing his concerns aren't really affecting the temperature measurements.
Christy is good, but not always right. Note that he supports anthropogenic global warming.
Mann has not been discredited. He overly smoothed out one graph. The National Academy of Sciences said he was basically right, but, in this case, his statistical methods were poor. Since then his work has been duplicated with better methods.

"Discredited" is typical Mcintyre style exaggeration.

My favorite global warming site is:
http://climateaudit.org/
Whether or not you agree with their conclusions (generally not flattering to AGW proponents), you should appreciate their thorough analysis of data and intolerance of improper data manipulation. My first knowledge of McIntyre and McKitrick involved the 'hockey stick.' I found their desire for transparency to be admirable, their analysis to be excellent and their conclusion absolutely credible. (and in the case of the hockey stick, absolutely damning of Mann's methods and claims)
Regardless of your position on global warming, this site is a must read!
