If it's an abscess, take a kleenex and press on the wound to push out the pus. It needs to be emptied to heal and it needs to heal from the inside out. Wash the area with warm water and you can use some neosporin if you like but keep it open to the air.

your cat has been bite by a cat or a dog,it is a absuss, has it all drained out,if not squeeze all pus out.then wash twice a day with boiled water and pinch of salt should be ok in 2 days.if not take her to vet,but keep cleaning and make sure get puss out.

If your cat stays outside, or if you live in the country another cat might have come by to get her pregnant, and the lump could be from him trying to stay on her.My cat had the same thing and I found out it was a tomcat trying to stay on. But when that happened I lived in Oklahoma. Do you have any dogs? If you do one of them could have got in a fight with her.

get as much puss out as you can (wash your hand real well, before and after) and then apply antibiotic ointment about three times a day. I've done this with a sore on my cat and it worked wonders.

Taking the cat to the vet would just be a waist of cash. Go to the store or pharmacy and buy this antibacterial cream. But a bandage on and wait. If it gets infcted go see a vet.

PEACE OUT! :)

If your cat goes outside, she was probably in a fight. If not she might have caught herself on something. Either way, she needs to go to the veterinarian to get checked out and put on antibiotics.

Your best bet would be to take the cat to a professional for a look see.

take that cat to a vet right away, that doesn't sound good at all.
