Yes you are correct. People do worship in practice, but their hearts are far away. Many like a show, the pat on the back. God seeks the humble. Remember he said, there is a way that seems right to man, but in the end leads to destruction. Many a dollar has been given in "good deeds" but our Lord also said, I am sick your your offering, they are a stench in my nose. Obedience is what I desire.

I saw a lot. If there is heaven, qualify to go there depends on what you did, not what you said. Otherwise, why bother with this God things? And, it is very confusing for these God things, why people believe in God kills each other? Only their God is real?

Actually no, I do not know this.

When I look at all of the wealthy TV evangelists, such as Jimmy Swaggart, Jan and Paul Crouch, and the late Jerry Falwell and Gene Scott, it seems to me that "they" do "not" believe that wealth and riches cannot buy one happiness; in other words, they believe in material wealth and riches as a consequence of their faith in God.

There is a lot of hypocrisy in today's religion. I feel the same as Bertrand Russell, when he said that he did not believe in Christianity because no one was genuinely practicing it.

Jesus taught us to be humble, loving and forgiving. There are a lot of us Christians who say the right things but do another. God knows what's in our hearts and in the end we'll be judged by our actions not just our words.

Like anything in life, you have some that do the work, and you have others that just follow due to the herd.

Dressing up, going to church and putting a fat check into a plate does not guarantee you anything. Well, it does one thing... you have less cash in your pocket.

not all people worship as you say; only God knows what is in someones heart; it is up to him , not us; you have to be responsible for your own life, your own words , your own actions; the rest is God's business to tend to and take care of.
