Good and evil are like God, creations of man. We humans are mortal and as such anything that threatens that mortality is considered to be evil, whereas anything that works in favor of life is considered good. In reality there is no good or evil except within the confines of human social order and within the need to control our passions.

Human beings being the highest social structure on this planet, of higher rational and irrational thought, have need of such words as good and evil only as they are referenced within our individual sociological and cultural structures. God did not produce anything, because man produced God. So it only follows that good and evil are also inventions of man, just as the concept of time and various other idioms have be created over time.

God only created good. It was the mindset of the devil or Lucifer that wanted to change God's plan to what he though was a better way. He is the one that made a atmosphere for evil to manifest in. By sending the whole of mankind around the horn the back way he mangaged to create a place where darkness could survive. God saw the thing happening and put plan (B) in place. He now allows that evil to play it's self out as a way to seperate the wheat from the chaf. He will take a drug addicted fool and let him wander around in addiction for enough time to become terminal and then deliver him right out of it and into ministering to others that have the same problem. I know, that was me. He has it all under control and when He decides to turn up the light the darkness is going to be gone. There will not even been anymore shadows. God is Light and Light and Love and Truth are the strongest power there is.

God is not capable of producing evil - evil comes from Satan, and that is the spiritual battle that goes on, as we have free will to choose between the things of God, which are good - and evil things which are from Satan.
But God is not the author of any bad things.

So God can test who will follow good and who will follow eveil - the way of Satan.

If God had kept day light always and we never had darkness, we wouldn't appreciate the day light. After experiencing the darkness of night, we appreciate the day light. Every thing God has made there is a purpose in it.
Instead of questioning why why why, we must try to think and understand what for God did things we don't understand.
And we learn by reading God's scriptures. If you don't understand scriptures ask some one who understand.

Best for you is try to read Quran with good translation. You will not go to hell by reading Quran. 1.3 humans (Muslims) believe in it. False religions don't last very long and do not attract that many believers.

God is not the Author of evil in any way. Adam and Eve's original sin caused all the rest of us humans to be sinful.
We must take the responsibility for the evil in the world.

I don't agree,

I feel that just as the Good of God exists, So does its Counterpart Evil, or Bad.

It just IS

Just like you have a right foot and a left foot, and 2 hands, and 2 sides of the brain, and 2 eyes, and ears,

its Physics,

and Nature, and Spiritualism

With ever action come a completet and opposite reaction.

It was inevitable,

Meg

God did not create evil, mankind chose to sin which brought evil into the world. The good news is that Jesus paid the cost for all our sin and now he offers us this gift. All we need do is ask Him.

As another poster said, God created free will and gave that free will to all of His other creations.
Some of those creations used their free will in an "anti-God" fashion thus producing that which we call 'evil'.
