The Joy of the Lord is my Strength
The Lord is my Rock and My salvation, I will trust and not be afraid.

If God be for us, who can be against us.
With God, all things are possible.

For I know the plans I have for you, for a future and a hope.

If you are in despair, if this does not perk you up, nothing will.

The Apostle Paul said, "...We do not lose heart... We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.... Therefore we do not lose heart.. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all." (2 Corinthians chap 4)

How could he and other Christians not despair - even when in the Roman ampitheatre, about to be torn apart by wild beasts? Paul said it is "Christ in you, the hope of glory." (Col 1:27)

think of the worst possible senario your problem could lead you to, think deeply about it- like going to jail or losing someone and say thats what could be the worst. now being prepared for the worst mentally takes out the worst fear and makes anything else better.another way is to discuss this worst fear with a very close friend who can understand and 99% of the time the worst never happens.if possible engross yourself in physically tiring exercises- it helps
