They are wrong unless they have tried to learn about all other beliefs and then they come to conclusion that only their religion is the best one.
Some Christians come and knock my door and try to convert me. I say I will read your book if you read my book. They say "no I can't read Quran, because my priest says, I will go to hell if I read Quran". Their priest know faults in their religion and are afraid if their followers will read about Islam, they will convert as Muslims. So they scared them about punishment in hell. Our Imams do not prohibit us from reading books of other religions. They know we will not find any better religion and a divine revelation of God better than the latest edition of God...Al-Quran. So I am not afraid of reading books of any other religion.

To comprehend different religions and ideology first you should understand and understand the tenets of each and every of the biggest religions of the worldwide and you'd be shocked to locate that each and every of the biggest religions have the comparable purpose that ends up in GOD. in case you should attain the city center are you able to declare that your direction to the city center is the excellent considering the fact which you're drawing near from the South of the city. All others reaching the city center from North, East or West initiate believing that their respective routes are the excellent after which you all initiate squbbling and quarelling. Does all this makes any sense to you. regrettably comparable is actual of diverse religions their trip spot is the comparable yet they save arguing with regard to the direction ideal to their comparable trip spot. you like not take a direction by way of North, East or West take your guy or woman direction in the direction of the South, in no way replace your faith because of the fact each and every of the religions have the comparable trip spot.

It is important when discussing different religions and faiths to consider their authority. Many faiths claim to have the truth, but on what is that truth based? The bible alone can claim to have fulfilled prophecy, historical accuracy and moral truth. The bible has NEVER been contradicted by any archeological discovery, but rather has been verified in many instances. (Ex. - the existence of the Hittites, mentioned in the bible, was long doubted. Then in 1884 a monument was uncovered by Archeologist William Wright referencing the Hittite people.)
Study for yourself. If you are looking for truth it is worth the time.

Because thats what they are taught.
Most people believe it without question and without even inquiry, others who really understand their religion and other religions and have come to this resolution based on what they have learned are better than the first.

The bible teaches that there is only one true religion..In the prayer Jesus said let your name be sanctified He was showing that the true religion would hold Gods name on high esteem Matt 24:14 says this good news will be preached Second clue for the true religion they would be involved in a world wide preaching work, and third they would show genuine love for one another and neihgbor john 13:35

because few people take the due time to learn of others, because not all have the time, therefore they take much for granted: they never discuss and analyze the ideas they are born into, but this is not a good way for seeing things for what they are

i didnt, i had too many doubts and unanswered questions and converted to another faith. we are all born with a mind of our own and logic and reasoning. No one said you have to follow blindly. there is good in every religion (i cant speak for satanism coz know nothing about it) i guess its just up to individuals to find their truth.

As a Roman Catholic, I would have no reason to be Catholic if I subscribed to the idea that other religions were "no better or no worse" than my own.
Of course I believe Roman Catholicism is "the only right one" -- otherwise, why would I believe in it?
I believe that other religions have some elements of religious truth -- but that Roman Catholicism is the only religion that has the fullness of religious truth.

Misguided faith.
I prefer to believe that we all worship the same one God (if such exists)
Too many of us twist our religions to make excuses for hatred and war - his is the nature of a competitive human race. Sad but true!

Luckily, my parents didn't put my in that situation. No basptism, but many trips to churches, synagogues, sikh temples, buddhist temples, etc.
Go figure that the one they didnt tell me much about (because they didnt know about it) was the one I chose...LOL
