The address does not contain either P.O.Box or APO. Will it be delivered normally as if to any residential address or because it is a military base are there any restrictions which would cause the package not to be delivered next day?

UPS will get it to the base within their advertised time. Unfortunately, from their, it will be subject to the standard efficiency of the military system...

It should be delivered normally, however when we lived on base sometimes UPS would come up with excuses for not delivering on time, blaming it on the base. But I use to be SF and my husband still is and all they have to do is show that they have a package for an on base address and they can go deliver it. Now the problem I've had is them not knowing where the address was located and not bothering asking anyone, so they'd say the address was incorrect and I'd have to go pick it up at their office.

UPS next day will work only to the base. Once it arrives at the base, it will go through the standard mail process which could add several days to the delivery time. A better bet would be to have whomever either check with a friend who lives off base and have it delivered there.

Mail time on base is really quite different than mail time in the civilian world.

Good luck,
Z

The package can be delivered to the Fort next day but that doesnt mean its intended receiver will get it then. That just depends on if they disburse the mail or if the guys/gals go pick it up.

if the address is their military family housing unit, it can most definitely get there on time. But if it is their workplace, not likely. Mail going into the Commands themselves is handled differently.
