"God" is a sort of stop-gap measure invented by humans to reduce the ambient anxiety created by unanswerable questions.

It's all a matter of belief, if u find no feeling strong enough in u urging u to believe in Him then there's no compulsion for u.
Yeah, it must be hard to think there is someone out there to protect u, to be ur one last hope in this brutally realistic world. It must be weary to listen to all those people emphasising somebody as the Saviour whose existence could never be proved, whom u have never seen or felt in any way.
But some quiet moment when ur Mind is free of distractions; sit back & think that this non-existent God is the driving force behind the billions around the world.
Do not confuse God with religion; He is one but religions are the various paths to reach Him.
God is not out there in the church, or the mosque, or the temple. He resides right within u, under the layers of emotions & confusions ----- a bright Light leading u.

I do not believe that we have to hae a god like the religions boast and teach about. Their idea of god sounds more like a western shoot out. One god has to "win". Since something made all of us and all creation it is that Life Force that should be honored. A Divine Intelligence that is beyond judgement, intimidation or punishment. If we could just go back to some form of natural life and be at one with Mother Nature and the elements I believe that woould work better and allow us to honor all life everywhere.

Without a God, one has to accept either that the universe always existed or that something can come from nothing. Many find both views illogical. Belief in God is believing that "something always existed" (God) . So, if one accepts that logic, why confine it to God? i.e. why could not everything have always existed? But then you are left with a lot of intricate life systems that seem to demand an intelligent design, having occurred by chance.

History does not record anywhere at any time a religion that has any rational basis. Religion is a crutch for people not strong enough to stand up to the unknown without help. But, like dandruff, most people do have a religion and spend time and money on it and seem to derive considerable pleasure from fiddling with it.

Greetings,
Time is Short, i say we are almost at the end of time.
There is a God who created heaven and Earth. He Loves Us all.
John 3:16 "For God loved The World so Much, that he gave his only son,so that everyone who believes in him may not die but have eternal life."

Pray to god, now. Because if you don`t act now. Its now or never.
Peace Be With you.

wouldn't the answer to this question be worth more to you if you actually bleieved in a god? You don't - so whether or not someone says that there has to be or doesn't have to be probably makes no difference to you.

Quite simply there doesn't. It is an emotional crutch for many people but that is about it.

Voltaire would tell you that we had to invent him. God is a good means of social control.

Because He said so!

:-P

Or, wait on, some people said that their invisible friend said he was God and thus existed...

Because human beings fear death so they made up a little friend from eternity. Much like santa clause, tooth fairy, the flying sphaghetti monster, etc.

Face it. Were all going to be dead. And we wont even no where we are. much like before birth
