Those are way to big for a Ford Taurus. Stick with p215/60r16 for your car. 275s belong on trucks.

Your an automotive engineer and you are about to destroy all the engineering that went into building that car. Don't change to truck tire size on a common sedan it will look very funny and handle worse if you can make them work. Tire size for that car is posted on the drivers door post or somewhere onthe car stick to what the car had.

No -
Take the full size truck tire back.
Get a set of passenger car tires.

THERE SHOULD BE NO MORE THAN 3% DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE OUTSIDE DIAMETER OF THE TIRES YOU HAVE AND THE ONES YOU WANT TO PUT ON. IN YOUR CASE THERE IS 20% DIFFERENCE SO IT DEFINITELY WILL NOT WORK

you are a goose!
they may fit on the rims, but i doubt they'll fit under the guards; not to mention the error the speedo will now have.
take them back and get the correct ones
