I answered a question on Yahoo answers just yesterday. The answer I gave was obviously not what the asker wanted to hear but it was in no way vulgar or inappropriate. But now the answer is not listed in my answers section and I can't find the question again. Where did it go?

If you can't find your answer in your profile, it was probably deleted by Yahoo. Have you checked your email to see if you have a violation notice? The question could have deleted, as well. If someone reported either your answer, or the asker's question, one or the other was most likely deleted. Try using the search function to find the question, or if you know which user asked the question, you may be able to find it in their profile, if it isn't set to private.

Yeah , if the answer you gave can't be found in your profile in the "answered questions" tab , it was either deleted , or it may not have made it. What i mean is that there's a chance it never got posted, especially if you're on dial-up...like me. I've experienced this before, something just didn't go through cause i may have been getting a provider update trying to load at the time , or someone was trying to call me on the phone , thereby messing up my "click" to submit the answer.
