After is O.K., and only a few.
But not really before.
The Jewish priests who attended the temple did not drink alcohol while or before their duties.

Scripture also says not to be drunk with wine, wherein is excess, but to be filled with the Holy Spirit.
I knew a lady who needed a couple of belts before going to church, but she kept coming and learning and exposing her heart to the gospel. Eventually, without anyone bringing up the subject, she aligned her heart with God and found that she didn't want those drinks before church any more. Worshiping God, when our hearts are aligned with his, is enough. There's nothing better.

Well, I don't see how you know "he didn't want us to visit church after a few drinks." Have you spoken to Him? Or can your read His mind?
I would assume that your visiting church after a few drinks is your choice. I would just hope that you aren't a jerk or a fool after a few drinks.

Drink whenever you want just don't be drunk, Church is a great place to have a drink we drink every sabbath. and it's a good thing.

its OK_maybe youll be more obviously devout when you are high and impress everyone around you. anyway it should be allowed as you dont give your kid whisky if your intention was to make him a tea addict
