Other than to p1ss off a load more people. Surely by now, anyone who thinks they can 'help the planet' would have got the message.

It always seems to be hippies of one sort or another; new age or the old 1960's types who show up at these events. They do nothing to motivate me into action. I have nothing in common with the tie-dye tee-shirt and wholemeal sandal brigades. So who else gets turned off by these protesters?

So John Sol, as a 'Climate Camper' what is this ordinary job that you do, that allows you to take time off to sit outside an airport protesting?

Exactly. This "global warming" bs is nothing more that a small vocal group of thugs forcing others to give up their cars, bottled water, golf, and other creature comforts of life, in order to turn back time making man live in a primitive world.

Well in my opinion who cares about global warming, massive climate change has happened before, such as the dinosaur age. HOWEVER, the issue that worries me is where the hell is the pollution going? Apparently the arctic is basically the dumping ground of the all the world pollutents and the plants and the animals are gathering up all these toxins. Pollution also causes acid rain and undrinkable water. Pollution kills waterways and sufficates birds and fish, suddenly it's going to affect us. Its not just air we are polluting, everything on this earth is getting pumped full of toxins, we are weeding the earth basically. And about the hippies, if you want to make money and have a successful life, how the hell are you going to achieve that without a world to live in in the first place!

Firstly, as all the questions on answers from people wanting to know how to be 'green' shows, there are growing numbers of people getting the message.
Secondly, as a climate camper, I am niether an new age type nor a 60's throwback., I would say that that stereotype accounts for less than 5% of the protestors. We are ordinary people who do ordinary jobs.

If I was in any doubt about ozone layers and tree hugging, and didnt know who to believe, this demo would make my mind up for me, all BS!!
Now if I had booked my annual holiday to leave the airport at a certain time and this lot had made me miss my flight, I would go to my local park and chop a few trees down.

Protestors don't bother me I have to say.
They always protest for good reasons.
Also we wouldn't want to kill out them type of people, It's like saying why do fashionist always wear the latest fashion yet are all wearing the same clothing at the same time...short leggings and tops everywhere.
everyone is different

There was a worry in Victorian times that due to the increasing number of horses their manure would block the streets.
IT DID NOT HAPPEN.
If we remember that management phrase
ACTION NOT INTENTION
And get on with developing alternatives that are not just 'green' we will solve our problems.
