I bought my car last week here in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. But since there is no visible difference between these models, I just want to make sure the car I got is the 2008 model and not the 2007 model.

Check under the hood. I don't know about cars in your country, but in the US, there's an emissions sticker that says something like, "...this vehicle complies with...model year 2008". This is different from the sticker inside the driver side door jamb, which tells you when the car was MANUFACTURED. A car manufactured in 2007 may still be a 2008 MODEL year car.

Altima coupe is a faster and way cooler car than the Camry. Since the coupe is brand new it's too soon to say what its reliability will be. Advantage for reliability would have to go to the Camry, at least until the Altima coupe's been around for a few years so that it can be evaluated down the road. I doubt that the Altima's gonna break down on you right off, though, and of course it has a warranty.

Manufacture date of 07/2007 and latter is a 2008 that is on the data plaque on the drivers door jamb.

How many km does it have??? a 2008 would have to be like new! If it has over 5,000 km, it's a good chance to be a 2007.
Either way, it's a very good car! Enjoy!
