We will not be able to wait for natural evolution. Man will decide to raise the bar on his own potential, there are those who will say we shouldnt 'play god' but if we can get better highscores at the game, why shouldn't we redesign ourselves, knowing all we will about genetic engineering and nanotechnology.

The sun will expand in 5 billion years to a red giant but we wouldn't be caught in its corona because as it flings off all that matter its gravitational pull will decrease. Besides a large proportion of mankind will be elsewhere in the galaxy within a few thousand years, we won't wait millions or billions of years. We will explore the apexes of biological evolution then when it is insufficient cast the soggy corpses aside as we embrace inorganic homes using nanotech and programmable matter.

Eventually we'll learn how to encode ourselves on to the most durable substance of all - the fabric of space itself, we will be lords of the universe and when and if the universe collapses, or accelerates enough to tear itself apart we will flee through hyperspace for a new home. Never forgetting our origins on a very ordinary rock halfway out one of the spiral arms in our home galaxy.

No imagination needed.
(Psalm 37:9) For evildoers themselves will be cut off, But those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth.

(Psalm 37:11) But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.

(Psalm 37:29) The righteous themselves will possess the earth, And they will reside forever upon it.

(Psalm 37:34) Hope in Jehovah and keep his way, And he will exalt you to take possession of the earth. When the wicked ones are cut off, you will see [it].

Good people will remain on the earth.

There will be no wickedness.

there will be no death or sickness.

(Revelation 21:4) And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

(1 Corinthians 15:26) As the last enemy, death is to be brought to nothing.

As history has shown us there will be war throughout time but the ultimate underlying principle war has shown to give the human race is a freer understanding of itself and as capitalism and democracy have shown to be beacons of light we'll eventually embrace our differences and no longer take-up arms against one another because we'll have been throughly educated by the past instances. Take for example WWI which led to President Woodrow Wilson's fourteen points plan which could've averted WWII had the Treaty of Paris included all fourteen points. WWII showed the European continent how to forge a new kind of peace among interdependent states and thus the European continent is a better place for the suffering, war, and hatred that existed prior to WWII. Each culture and geographic region will eventually learn the lessons of time immemorial through capitalism, democracy, education, heartache, pain, suffering, and all combinations of tragedy until we learn to cooperate and live under an international system of governance higher than the sovereign nation.

In the end, if we don't kill our selves with pollution and the like, we will all die anyway.

The Sun will become a red giant, and either engulf the Earth, or come to close so that all the water burns up/ we explode.

Edit: Why the hell did I get thumbs downs? What I said about the Sun is a proven fact, like it or not.

I'm a ball of fire
Fire from heaven
Terror from nowhere
Never shoot me down

Days turn to minutes
five seconds til it hits us
three seconds to ground
one second to ...

ASTEROID
ASTEROID

Coming in from the void..

On the bed of the ocean
where history lies
strange civilisations vapourised

I.N.R.I
Nature renewed by fire made whole

and i climb to the mountain
light to dark
behind time and space
a hole in your Ark

The day will come when God decides to have a judgement day, where only those who have 100% faith in God will survive. Those people who survive will band together to help shape the world in God's eyes.
