Anyone know how to play guitar hero (ps2) on a ps3?

I have the ps2 game with 2 guitars, and i have now got a ps3. i know you can buy adapters to allow ps2 controllers to work on a ps3 (usb) but apparently none of them are compatable with guitar hero
