Some people are trying to control the resources of the world and exploit people and literally enslave them, to fight against these culprits is a holy task, thus its called fighting in the name of God. Of course other party is fighting for satanic cause.

Some people just take their religion too far. And I think it's just basic human instinct to compete. Not all wars and fighting were fought in the name of God and religion.
On a different note, some people/countries unite in the name of God and religion.

Political issues, where the leaders, used God's name to gather their people into a united force. For everyone has their own perspective and reasoning, but in the face of religion, all of these qualities cannot be applied.

Gods name and religions are now fully commercialised. It is sheer greed of the proponents of religion to increase their wealth and power under the garb of religion.A love for God and following the tenets of religions should usher long lasting peace, but that has now been marginalised.

because religion sucks- there is no such thing as religion. its just your local priest trying to control you. thats why i am an aetheist. by the way religions teach you to hate,wage war , not help another, degrade people- of course a human being of another religion
