Yes if people were more humble and humane this would be a much better world. It is out if peoples overblown egos and caring little for others that has led this world towards so much hate and resentment. One should always be proud of who they are but should be humble in how they are. Some of the smartest people (Oxford, Harvard, Rhodes Scholars) I have meet were very polite and did not brag and act like they knew all, even in the areas they are considered experts in by the rest of the world.

I think it means something like having a reasonable understanding of your place in the grand scheme of things. Moses was said to be humble, yet he did such amazing things, because he knew that God was really behind it, that he was just a man. His one real failure came when he did what God told him to do, but did it his own way. God told him to speak to the rock and water would come out of it, but Moses struck the rock instead. God honored the request for water, but he barred Moses from entering the promised land as a result of his moment of hubris, imagining he could improve on God's commands. Yes, the world would be better if we would know our proper place in it and not try to live each one as a god unto himself.

Maybe. But, I could posit that the ones that show humility will just be victimized by the ones who don't. What the world needs is an end to manipulation. Economic and religious manipulation is what causes strife.

yes!!! If people showed true humility they would treat other people with a TON of respect. Humility is in a sense simply seeing yourself as a child of God and seeing everyone else as the same. Therefore people would respect everyone else as a child of diety and they would listen to our Heavenly Father because they realize he has our best interests in heart

Do you know that is how you receive Jesus in your heart. You have to humble yourself and ask Jesus to forgive your sins and ask Jesus to come into your heart.

i think it all starts in the family.

I think it would be better if parents become parents when they are emotionally, financially and psychologically ready for parenthood.

Children these days lack the proper guidance and influences a good parent should have.
