LOL! Most teachers, ESPECIALLY homeschool parents do not assign work that must be completed during the middle of the night unless it is the study of nocturnal animals, or astronomy.
SO, anything other than those two things, I would have to say, stop procrastinating and get it done earlier.

I made the incredibly stupid mistake of trying to stay up late to finish my history homework and practice piano. I downed six cans of Red Bull to stay awake, remembered nothing from history, nearly fell asleep at the piano, went to bed at 6 AM and woke up at 8. At 10:30 I had a math class which I completely screwed up in because we're doing geometry and trig, and I'm an algebra person. My piano lesson went terribly because I'd thrown off my sleep schedule until Tuesday and my productivity completely suffered.
Go to sleep, tackle it first thing when you wake up. Maybe you won't do so well, but you'll be able to do it.
My all-nighter was Thursday, math class is on Friday, piano on Monday.
In the future try to do your homework right after the class, or earlier in the day. If you do it right after the class, you'll remember more. Do the harder bits first while the information is fresh, so you'll have the easy stuff when you're not as ready for it.
Doing it earlier in the day has two advantages. The first is that it leaves the rest of the day free to do whatever you want. The second is that if you do it early, you can't really get that distracted.
People procrastinate because work seems harder than it is. Break work in to chunks. Instead of thinking of my weekly history work as, "50-page textbook chapter+9 PSDs+chapter quiz+essay+three practice quizzes+documentary," I think of it in small, daily terms. For example, today I'm going to read about half of the chapter and three PSDs. Tomorrow, I'm going to read the other half, take the chapter quiz, and read another three PSDs. Next day, I watch the documentary, read three PSDs and take the practice quizzes. And the next day, I write my essay, submit my form and have Friday, Saturday and Sunday to relax.
It's a lot easier to tackle 20 textbook pages and 10 math problems than 50 textbook pages and 60 math problems.

get it done and make sure I plan ahead next time so I won't be in the same situation again in the future. But, I somehow always make the same mistake again. I'm a procrastinator, what can i say. ; )

Either finish it then or get up early and do it.
OF course, knowing me, it would get done five minutes before the class was done...but that's not good advice
