You know what ..........is is up to the Iraq population. When they had their first democratic election, the citizens proudly displayed their ink-stained thumbs. We got and made sure the dictator died. When Hitler died, we put on trail his co-horts, but withdrew , and allowed the Germans to figure it out.

Iraq is 5 thousand years strong. I think they can figure it out. The US bullying will not make them think like us. Quite the opposite. I will leave it as that.

No One likes being told what to do. Everyone wants the support of their decision.

Bring THE TROOPS HOME! Let Iraq figure out it's course. Most Americans believe it was a "vendatta" war. Some will argue vehemnantly, we have to control the area,...but why? The only ones profitting are big companies, not Americans. This is not a war of freedom, but money!

If it really was about "the little man" help me pay for my next colonoscopy. I live in a nation who is willing to kill the parents of a 9 year old at the rate of 1200 dollars in Iraq. How about using those funds to provide me medication to overcome colon cancer?!

The outcome of pulling troops now out of Iraq............priceless!

I'm assuming you're asking about the outcome when the US pulls troops out of Iraq. My answer is that it depends on when it happens. If current efforts to embrace the establishment and maintenance of a democratic government are successful BEFORE we leave, then we'll only help maintain their efforts as they improve upon their situation. BUT what's more likely to happen if the Democrats take the office next year, is that we'll pull out prematurely, Hell will freeze over, pigs will fly, WW3 will ensue, and the Great Depression part 2 will start. Sounds fun huh? Well, it's coming if Hillary gets in there...and I'm not even close to kidding.

If we just pulled out tomorrow...

Iraq would be worse off... US troops are keeping some fighting between religious groups from getting worse. There would be no one to stop them from fighting each other. There isn't a government in place that could stop the fighting so I think more Iraqi people would die than are dying now.

Also, there would be the possibility that neighboring countries would occupy parts of Iraq and try to split it up.

g-day!

Some Islamic fundamentalist would take charge of Iraq soon and there won't be any civil war in very short time. But, it will be a big blow to US. A new Islamic khalifate will be established which would be based on totally different principles, culture and civilisation. They will declare any muslim will be their citizens irrespective of their birth place and nationality. Concept of nation itself will eliminate slowly. This is will be a parallel UN's; can you imagine?

if the us stays they get to keep killing if they leave Iraq's Will do the killing so better them then us it will end allot sooner with them doing the killing also the us can never force people in the middle east to think the American way. i would like to see Islam try to make the Americans to think their way forget it its time to get real and leave the oil behind and call it a totall loss and move on to the next conflict maybe Iran that's a Good one what about china some day uh

I think we should let the UN decide if they should go in for protection. We have no reason to be there.
What most people call the war is an illegal occupation.
The illegal occupation is not an opinion, it's a fact.
We should get out and get off of oil so we don't need an illegal occupation for foreign oil.

Iraq would fall into hands of Iran's fundamentalist religious government.
Which bizarrely enough is what U.S. atheists want.

Go figure?
