I believe in Jesus. He is the Son of the Most High God and he gave up his perfect human life in order that we, sinful mankind, can have the opportunity of having a good conscious before God, forgiven of sins, and the prospect of an everlasting life on earth.

A philosophical theory can be falsified but not proven. This is my personal approach as to how I formed my opinion:
- You can't get a Universe from No Universe (void). Nothing cannot become anything, yet the most widely accepted theory by scientists is of an original state with no spacetime.
- If the theory of "no spacetime state" is false (which would make most scientists completely wrong about the universe) that would mean the Universe had no starting point, though this is falsifiable because there is no random, only cause-effect (random is a word used by humans to describe outcomes that we can't simulate accurately). So, why is the Earth exactly this size, and in this exact motion compared to the sun? Why not another size and motion? An effectual instance such as this implies a root cause, because everything is determined by something, including the way our galaxy is right now.
So, for me, there must be a God. And the closest thing we've got is the story of Jesus.
Now, as to the subject of Jesus, there is a bit of mudslinging going around, both from believers and non believers. His real message was to be virtuous and tolerant, and he was killed for it. Unfortunately, Christians today are neither virtuous nor tolerant, and that's why Atheists tend to hate them (with good reason). However, there is also an Atheist bias in the media nowadays.
Complicated subject. To answer your question, I believe (a personal opinion that I am satisfied with vis-a-vis the facts).

Oh great. Another one of those questions asked by an insecure person looking for a pat on the back. I bet the best answer you choose will be someone who completely agrees with you. Feel better.
