Both pills contain 100rda of vit A and vit B with what I get from food would I be overdosing or is this OK. I am a very fit 68 year old. I do a lot of running and gym work.

As long as you are under 3000 IU of A daily (and this is a high maximum for folks in body building or medical therapies) you will probably be okay, but less would be better. About 800 IU is rated 100 rda. As far as the vitamin B, you're probably fine. B vitamins are excreted in the urine if you don't "use them up", but A is fat soluble, and remains in the body if unused. Too much A can cause serious liver problems, so please be careful.

They should be fine together unless your multiple vitamin pil has a huge amount of vitamin A. The vitamin D RDA has just doubled and it will double and more soon.
You won't overdose. The upper limit of Vitamins A and D is 5000 IUs.

Yes, that would be overdosing. Just stick to a daily multi-vitamin unless your doctor says otherwise.

i take cod liver oil & omega 3 fish oil capsules both and am into running too. all is well so far.

plus my yasmin pill.
