"Did you know that if you do not belong to Jesus Christ you belong to Satan? You don't have to be a card carrying Satanist to serve Satan. You don't have to be a murderer, drunkard or drug addict, either. All you have to do is ignore Jesus Christ. If you don't have Jesus today, you are deceived and hell bound--you are a child of hell, a child of the devil." - an excerpt from http://www.jesus-is-lord.com/hellreal.htm
There are many Christians who are drunkards, muderers and drug addicts. So these Christians would not go to hell, because Jesus has died for their sins?
Some Christians say, no one can judge who goes to Hell or Heaven except God. But i see, alot of Christians here, judging and pointing fingers at atheists, non-believers and believers of other faith.
What would happen to these Christians that Judge?
"Judge not, lest ye be Judged" - Doesn't this mean anything anymore?
"Let he who is without sin cast the first stone" - Christians, are you without sin?

Funanna - You are the kind of Christian i am talking about. You keep repeating that, if i do not accept JC i will go to Hell.
But why? I can only know your God from the way you Christians are protraying him. I see him in YOU! Insecure, narcissistic, vengeful, and oh so bent on telling "US" that we are going to rot/burn in hell.

let me ask you this, what kind of a delusional mind could respect a deity that allows hell,is vengeful, jealous, punishes millions of his own children by drowning, fire and solidification into salt, that supposedly is all powerful, yet can't even deal with a disgruntled ex-angel now called Satan?.....these people call them self Christians...they are and all ways have been dangerous to all living things on this planet...

I am a Hindu Brahmin, and in my temple at home I have kept a copy of the Bible, the Holy Koran, Bhagvad Gita, Ganga Jal,Aabe Zam Zam from Kaaba. I feel much more enlightened by keeping the best that religion has to offer side by side. I am not scared that my being Hindu would in any way be scandalized by professing faith on Allah, Jesus, Yahweh, Vishnu, Buddha, Mahavir or Guru Nanak. I have learnt and gained from every religious scripture and today I strongly feel that all the religions reach at the same universal truth known as GOD.

I am a Christian, I do not go out of my way to sin.I don't drink, murder, nor do drugs. You must understand some things have already been judged. The word of God is very clear on WHO shall not enter into heaven. Those who have rejected Jesus as Lord and savior will go to hell. Jesus spoke these words. He (Jesus) has the power to cast stones.
Christians are called to be watchmen, to warn the people. Not to judge , but to warn. But when we warn , we are accused of judging.
Each Christian knows we are never going to be perfect , but we reach for that mark. We slip and fall , Jesus picks us up, when we cry out to Him.
Salvation is all about what Jesus did for us,not about our works.
Trust me most Christians had rather not suffer the cost of telling others about Jesus.<><

God would not discriminate because of what Church a person goes to. The religions say that He does, but that's just religion competition showing its face. The Old Testament says that the Arc of the Covenant is a way to heaven and the Old Testament is also the word of God.

The devil, or Satan, is a fairytale that has been created to control and subdue people. Acording to christians anything that they dont aprove of is a sin. So I guess that means choosing a dress color that some priest sitting high up on his pedistal doesn't like is a mortal sin and the chooser is bound to hell for it unless they neel at the priests feet and beg forgivness all the while promising him a favor of some sort or another.
This favor will vary from priest to priest, especially ones like catholic depending on age.

Let's face it - you can twist the Bible any direction you wish, for or against Jesus. Fact or fiction, it's still a positive message.
But no matter what you do here, Christians, you do it for HUMANS and Earth. When you die, you are with the spirits. Do not blur the two worlds. Stay functional to your kind here. We need you to steward this planet.

As far as I am concerned personally - there is no god. None at all and I don't have any hang ups about the life hereafter. I just try to live my life without harming others or making them miserable or being bad. They say the good you do comes after - I have always tried to be nice to the staff that I am in charge of, it is a good job I am because I was lucky enough to have a nurse (previously one of my workers) who was caring for me in ITU. If I'd been a bad manager, I dread to think how she would have treated me. Instead she was kind and thoughtful and very professional.
