Without my knowledge, yes I cried really hard that day and no doubt I'm still sad about it, I just want to know, is there anyway to track where my old dog is right now?

He was given because our new home didn't allow dogs and he had to be left in my dad's store (which he owned). But people were complaining because my dog left an odor on the store next to him so they shipped him off. But the reason why I'm pissed is because my dad didn't even let me say goodbye. I'm also sad because I don't even know if he's dead or not? And I'm also sad because if he's with a new family, that means he doesn't love me anymore.

Check to see if they have a website and see if they have if the dog was adopted or not. It will probably give you very little leads on who adopted it though

I'm so sorry to hear that your dog was given away. I'd sure like to think that your parents had a good reason for giving it away. You can call the spca and ask them; however you'd better be sure if you really want to know. There is always the possibility that he hasn't gone to a good home yet, and then you'll feel terrible. Maybe you should just accept that he/she is gone, and that in time your heart will heal. Take care!

You don't state why your parents gave your dog to the SPCA. Were you neglecting your dog or being cruel to it in any way? I don't suppose you would be honest here if you were, but you don't say. Most people wouldn't do this unless they had good reason. Maybe you adopted the dog and then just left it with your parents?

Hey! I know what your going through, when I was a kid, my dad didn't give the dog away, but actually shot and killed him, I found the dead dog a few days later, my dad told me he had ran away. I just chalked it up as " my father was a jerk" and it was another reason I quite speaking to him!
The moral of my story is: Ask your parents why they would do that, if they knew how much you loved him? be brave, and say to them, if it was just because the dog stunk, could giving it a bath been ananswer??
And remember, as long as you loved your dog, and never hurt him, he'll remember you forever!! Good Luck!

You can try to call and explain what happened, but chances are they can't release the information to you once an animal has been turned in to them.
As a minor you can't demand the dog back, it's awful I know. Your parents should have discussed things with you before doing anything.

Wherever you got the dog from there should be records of that dog. Just go back there and they would call the spca if you wanted that. Then what they might do is track the dog.
I am probably completely wrong but ya never know.

omg i'm so sorry. i totally understand how you feel. My parents did the same to me! n when i went tp spca to pick him up ..i was too late ='[ they had put him to sleep! he was only a 6 month old puppy ..i cried so much. They had no right to take him from me I fed him, walked, gave him everything & just because he was a lil out of control n tearing everything up they took jim. i still miss him to this day [Charlie ⥠RIP]..n i also blame myself for not being home, why did i have to go to work! might sound silly but i talk to him in my head n tell him i'm so sorry. but you shold talk to your parents, tell them you just want to know how he is, that it would calm you down, they should understand.

For what purpose? Do not disrupt the dogs life again. Move on, find another dog to love. [when you are old enough to have a dog on your own.]
