and not just the 144,000?
Did Jesus not tell His disciples to wait for the PROMISE of the Father in Acts 1:4? The Promise of God was for ALL!
Those with God's Holy Spirit and children according to Promise as stated in Galatians 4:28 which says Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are chidren of PROMISE, But as he who was born according to the flesh then persecuted him who born according to the Spirit, even so it is now. Nevertheless what does the Scripture say? Cast out the bondwoman and her son, for the son of the bondwoman (according to flesh) shall not be heir with the son of the freewowan (chidren of PROMISE, according to Spirit).
Ephesians 1:13-14 says you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of PROMISE who is the guarantee of our inheritance until redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.
Ephesians 4:30 says And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
See Galatians 4:21-31 for understanding!!

The Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses believes the bible to teach that all true Christians (those with heavenly or earthly hopes) are properly referred to as "children of God".
(Romans 8:18-22) The sufferings of the present season do not amount to anything in comparison with the glory that is going to be revealed... the creation itself also will be set free from enslavement to corruption and have the glorious freedom of the children of God. For we know that all creation keeps on groaning together and being in pain together until now.
Consider page 27 of the October 1, 2006 The Watchtower:
[quote]
God’s people have a wonderful future before them. Anointed Christians eagerly await serving with Christ in heaven, while the “other sheep” hope to “be set free from enslavement to corruption and have the glorious freedom of the [earthly] children of God.” (John 10:16; Romans 8:19-21; Philippians 3:20) That “glorious freedom” includes deliverance from sin and its horrible consequences. Indeed, Jehovah—the Giver of “every good gift and every perfect present”—would extend nothing less to his loyal ones.

FIRSTFRUITS AND FIRST RESURRECTED
Philip.2:5,9-12; We are all instructed to be like Jesus, but there is the heavenly for the new heavens [ heavenly body is head of the whole body ], and the earthly [ earthly body ], for the new earth as the whole body of Christ.
Rev.3:12; Heb.12:22-24; Mark 13:27; Gal.4:26; Rev.21:1-5; John 6:39,40,44; 14:3; John 17:1-26; 1Thes.4:15-17; 2Pet.3:13;
Rev.1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:
Rev.14:1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.
14:2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:
14:3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts,
and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.
14:4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins.
These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.
14:5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before
the throne of God. 14:6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,14:7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
1Cor.15:22-28; Rev.20:1-6,1,2,13; The heavenly are with him at his second coming. Matt.24:45-47; The faithful and wise servants will be made rulers.
Where there are rulers, there are those that know their rulers and the best any one can hope for in this sad world is for 144,000 to be just that. All can not be rulers, not now and not then.
When bible students are asked a bible question, they all just ask the bible.

"This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the Devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God; nor is anyone who does not love his brother. This is the message you heard from the beginning: We should love one another. Do not be like Cain, who belonged to the evil one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his own actions were evil and his brother's were righteous."
Now, of the multitude of religions that claim to be following Christs' teachings, how many of them actually do? Nearly all so-called Christian religions and their followers participate in war. In fact, millions have been duped by their clergy into supposing that they are doing their Christian duty by suiting up as soldiers and slaughtering those whom they are told are their enemies.
On the other hand, it is well known that Jehovah's Witnesses absolutely refuse to do military service, no matter the personal cost. We would rather be killed than become killers. So, just on this one issue there is an enormous contrast between Jehovah's Witnesses and the religionists of Christendom. While there are a handful of sects and Christian individuals that call themselves pacifists, nearly all of Christendom's religions, from Catholics to the evangelical fundamentalists, are more than willing to march to the beat of drums of war.
For those who are bewildered by the multitude that claim to be following Christ, considering how the various religions measure up just on the one issue of war should narrow the field down considerably.
Note: One does not need to be sealed to do what is right.

Christians are under the aegis of the Holy Spirit. Water baptism is the outward sign of the inward acceptance of the presence of the Holy Spirit when one accepts the discipleship of Yahshua Messiah.

yes, we know that. everyone has a chance. but only 144,000 will be in heaven the others will be resurrected to perfect life in a paradise earth. God's purpose is for the earth to be inhabited by perfect humans in paradisaic conditions, and that hasn't changed.
