My dog behaved in a weird fashion the other day.

I went with my dog to buy a second hand car. The owner seemed to be a pleasant guy. He was well mannered and offered his car at a very reasonable price and the car was well maintaned. All looked well to me but, when I was having a conversation with him, my dog started pulling me from his house. When he tried to stop it it barked with enormous anger. It did not allow me even to make an eye contact with that person. So, I could not further continue talking to him. I just left home asking for apology. The next day my neighbor told me that this guy was trying to get rid of his car because he stole it from someone else and was caught up in a legal battle.

I found your story to be very interesting. Thanks for sharing. Now please listen to mine.
My cousin worked for the anti cruelty society so he brought home many pets temporarily. We were visiting and he had a female sheltie. She was beautiful from what we could see but she remained hidden behind the sofa for all of the time that we were there. before we left I asked him to bring the dog out so I could have a better look at her. He dragged her out and she was very unwilling and timid. I then asked what is wrong with her tail? He said she had nipped at the baby for pulling her hair and he lifted her by her tail and broke it in two spots. I then asked what he was going to do with her and he said put her down. I said I would like to take her home and I do not have children so I did. we never had any problem with the dog until she saw the meter reader. she went nuts. then the mail man she went nuts again then a police officer. We could not expose the dog to anyone in uniform because she thought they were my crazy cousin that wore a uniform for his job at the dog pound. He hurt her and she could not let go of the association of uniforms.
Dogs are really something aren't they?

All dog owners like to think that their pet can sense their mood and emotions. Although researchers now accept that dogs, and other non-human animals, can experience primary emotions such as anxiety, fear, and anger, they still do not accept that "animals" have a sense of self and are capable of sophisticated secondary emotions. Instead, the scientists believe that non-human animals are incapable of understanding the feelings of others around them. Without a sense of self, they say, secondary emotions, like jealousy (he's enjoying that ... but I would enjoy more) or empathy (what a terrible situation that person/other dog is in) are impossible.

This is a complicated argument, and we don't have to review the details here, but suffice to say, not everyone agrees with the scientists. As sympathetic as I am to the difficulties of scientifically proving animal self-awareness and secondary emotions, I prefer to give animals the benefit of the doubt.
In some cases dogs and other pets can sense some things from a persons voice or the way they act. If your dog is acting extremely strong about something you should make sure everything is ok.

Some ways that people act can raise suspicion in a dog and cause them to act like they. People give off different body signals especially in a situation like that where the dog can pick it up and most of the time we dont even notice it. a side note make sure you get a car looked at before buying it no matter what anyone says.

I absolutely believe that pets do have a sense of good and bad people. They are intuitive and deffinately have an opinion about people that they come into contact with. My dog and cat will not go up to everyone, they only go up to people that they feel comfortable with for whatever reason. My dog especially will not go near certain people. I wish they could talk to us, but they certainly do get their point across about many things, whether they are hungry, need loving, they're not feeling well or simply don't like somebody or something...like taking a bath. I'd listen to him!

Dogs sense everything about a person. I have had people come in my house that my dogs tried to attack. Then someone can come in and my dogs greet them like family.
Their senses are so much sharper than ours. They pick up on things that we are not capable of. My dogs run to the window when my daughter is coming home. Her car is not in sight but they know she is near. She never comes home at the same time so it can't be that. Dogs have no concept of time anyway.

dogs %. up cues from different's habit & physique language, however if it is yet another animal or a human. some dogs have been waiting to bump into cancers in people as a results of their better experience of scent--they'd bump into diffused hormonal transformations or chemical transformations in a lesion, a man or woman's breath, or perspiration. So it is not somewhat any type of "supernatural" experience, plenty as biology. Your dogs can experience you will possibly be walking in a various way, or may well be waiting to smell hormonal transformations that ensue throughout the time of being pregnant. dogs can experience that issues are diverse and are extra soft to transformations than many people. Their experience of scent is extra clever stepped forward and so is their experience of listening to. They use their senses to entice conclusions approximately issues that have replaced of their ecosystem and kinfolk. All dogs vendors prefer to think of that their puppy can experience their temper and thoughts. however if researchers now settle for that dogs, and different non-human animals, can journey popular thoughts mutually with tension, worry, and anger, they nonetheless do not settle for that "animals" have a feeling of self and are able to state-of-the-paintings secondary thoughts. somewhat, the scientists believe that non-human animals are incapable of know-how the feelings of others around them. and not utilising a feeling of self, they say, secondary thoughts, like jealousy (he takes area in that ... yet i might take excitement in extra) or empathy (what a poor concern that man or woman/different dogs is in) are impossible.

Yes, your dog has a sense that we as humans do not have. Your dog was trying to protect you from buying that car by behaving odd/strange.

My dogs also do the same when people with bad vibes walk by them.

I don't know if they can actually sense good or bad people but they definitely can sense people who are unsure or afraid of them. I'm very nervous around large breed dogs and they seem to know it. If I'm in a group of people, I'm the one who gets jumped up on or barked at.

I don't know. but i do know that my brothers half pit-bull half Sharpe dog almost bit my 2 year old son. He feeds it, takes it on walks, and the dog has a large area. But when he sees my son, he goes ballistic. So not all dogs are good, even the well kept ones.

When I was a toddler, my family dog bit a guy who came to our house drunk. She was only protecting us, but we had to put her down. :-(. But sometimes dogs can act like that to people because they're jealous, too, whenever my fiance came to my house (before we married), my dog would be fine with him as long as he stayed away from me. But if he tried to hug me, she would jump in between us and push on him!
