You call us fundies, fanatics, crazies, morons, idiots, stupid, gullible, insane, hateful, hypocritical, manipulative, harmful to society, brainwashed, bigots, outdated, anti-science, bad spellers, mentally challenged, and accuse us of having low self-esteem, no self control, and letting others think for us. Sometimes I make hurtful and insulting remarks too. I shouldn't, and I know that, and believe it or not I'm getting better as time goes on. I apologize to anyone I may have hurt. I feel bad about it, I honestly do, and it's because I have the Holy Spirit to convict me. Before I was a Christian I would have said much worse to people and not felt the slightest bit guilty. My question is, do you ever feel bad for what you say about Christians? Ever wish you could take something back? And if so, what do you think prompts those feelings?
I appreciate your answers.

I never said "all morality comes from my God". I just asked where YOURS comes from, if you ever feel bad for things you've said, as I have.

Wow! Im proud of you! That took a lot to say, sorry! Why worry about what they think? People who are hurting, and have been hurt always have behaviors like that... Just love them. Remember what Jesus sai?. For they know not what they are doing. You know that all that they say about us is not true. Even if it was, Jesus loves us just the way we are, unconditionally. I know many christians that are genius and much more. They are Drs., Lawyers, Teachers, Artists and so much more,. Be confident in what you believe, be joyful and celebrate. You have God! You no longer feel the way you did. You are Born again, you have a better and a new life. God helped you to change... Praise the Lord!

I only insult in response to an insult, when people ask things that tell me or other non Christians that they are going to burn in hell, or why are atheists stupid, bad spellers, baby killers, etc then yeah I'm going to snap back after so many of these questions because these people deserve stupid answers to their stupid questions. I try not to actually insult most people but if it's something I don't agree on I usually try to say it like it is with no insult intended. And no there's not much I wish I could take back, I think before I say things. And feelings of remorse are natural, animals show remorse but you claim they have no souls.

i did not examine your first question so can not think of what brought about offence. I apologise for fellow Christians who're extra zealous than loving or maybe civil. i think which you utilize the be conscious 'clever once you somewhat advise 'recommended' immediately we've piles of know-how and information at our fingertips, even nevertheless it somewhat is authentic that disciplined gaining knowledge of develops our inborn intelligence. regrettably, it frequently works out that the extra we matter on our head know-how the extra we lose touch with invisible powers and instinct. I advise, interior the Christian worldwide, those interior the third worldwide who've not something, plenty extra generally , via the potential of religion by myself, journey impressive secure practices, training and provision. interior the days while the previous testomony replaced into written, numerous its content cloth replaced into written via direct concept from God's spirit, because of the fact know-how replaced into skinny. It replaced into written purely to describe issues previous their organic know-how, truths, somewhat than info, with which their minds have been supernaturally inspired. If the earth replaced into formed in 6 days, that replaced into quite a impressive start to existence. yet primitive people actual believed interior the potential of the supernatural and impressive. immediately many Christians nonetheless believe in a supernatural start to the 1st ranges of existence, not purely the 1st existence-type, for God's potential has no shrink in time or area. you are able to not via scientific potential learn and classify supernatural activities, consequently technology has its very own particular field, which isn't 'the supernatural'. My husband and that i, additionally some acquaintances, have had supernatural stories of God which atheists attempt to rubbish with psychological motives, yet people who've religious stories are in little doubt that the source is God. some 'religious' stories would nicely be evil, those do not arise from God. Miracles, previous scientific regulation, ensue each and all of the time, yet not plenty interior the West.

To be a good person you do not need to rely on any holy spirit and a son - a father and for lasting company Mary Magdalene as a daughter-in-law. For a good society no son of a gun should give a guarantee to take to himself the sins of the likes of Bush Osama Blair & Saddam. Christianity is absurd. That is our point.

Well I've a question to you (not as a Xian or Atheist) Do you think the MAJORITY of Fundamentalist Cretans feel bad when they attack, harass, defile, vilify anything they disagree with.

No? Nah they have their God on their side! Their God forgives them for their abusive actions? (I bet not). I bet they do not give a flying hoot to the individuals other than to consider them as a spiritual trophy.

& I speak from someone's who's life was totally destroyed by a Public Servent who abused their position of authority. I AM NOBODY's TROPHY. The abuse did not cause me to recant my faith. I can also claim that I DO NOT JUDGE Moderates based on the actions of their Fundy cousins.

Yeah I know you're trying to claim different. But I bet you don't give a hoot about this either. YOU just want to publically wash "your sins".

Sorry not from me. I've lost 20 years of my life because of the actions of Bigots.

I've said many hurtful things to many people over the years. I regret most of them. What makes me feel that way? The human species evolved with an instinct for empathy and an instinct for altruism. I may not think about the fact I may be hurting someone, but when I do, my empathy means I share in the pain I've caused them, and my altruism makes me swallow my pride and apologize.

No need for an appeal to a deity to have a conscience.

I have had some wonderful on going debates with a few christians here, I generally try to be polite. I do admit to attacking back when attacked, I feel that is just human nature.

when people ask ignorant fallacious questions my answers tend to be snarkier than when someone asks a well thought out question even if it is of a different view than mine.
