I have been out of the Marine Corps for almost a year. I got out last time after having recurring injuries and I didn't want to sit there waiting to receive a package for injuries to I just got out. I can't really stand how boring civilian life is, I never got to do what I set out to do in the Marines, and college is unnerving so I want to go back. How long can I be out of the Marine Corps before I have to complete boot camp a second time? Its so mentally draining lol.

The Lieutenant Colonel recommended that I receive an honorable discharge due to having a perfect conduct score. As for the DD214 form, I have known other marines to join after being discharged for recurring injuries.

If you already completed USMC Bootcamp, then you don't have to repeat it.
The thing I'm wondering about is what you said about getting out due to injuries.... did you recieve a Medical Discharge?? If you did, then you might not be able to get back into the service. If you got a DD214 Form, you need to review it and make sure you're even eligible to re-enter service.
If you can't figure it out, contact your local recruiters office and give them the whole story about your situation, they'll be able to answer your questions better than anybody here on Yahoo.
Good Luck Marine.

You are toast as far as being a Marine. There are no 'seconds' in the Marine Corps. You said it yourself that '"its so mentally draining". Boot Camp has a purpose in the Corps! "To weed out all people who for one reason or another, cannot handle the rigors of continious battle situations." Dont feel bad....not everyone can handle it and not everyone can be a "MARINE". No shame...you tried!

You were discharged for stress fractures. That's what I get from your rambling explanation. You won't be able to re-enlist in the Corps and you will probably not be able to enlist in any other branch.

You cant go back. You wasted the government money by having them fly you out to boot camp and not finishing it. They will not send you again to waste more money.
