Hamsters are just like people and have different personalities. My first hamster lived for 5 years so we got her to sleep during the night and play during the day. My other hamster that recently passed away slept ALL day. Like, there wasn't a time that she wasn't sleeping.
To check if your hamster is sick, check around the nose and tail. If he has wet tail (wet around the tail...) then get some drops and use them. Wet tail can be deadly. If he has crust and such around his nose, he might just have a cold and is getting over it.
If you don't want your buddy to get sick, I suggest getting vitamin drops to put in the water, or even vitamin yogurt treats (which they LOVE). This will keep your hamster healthy!

It's normal for hamsters to take naps at night mine does it it's like us being bored and then doing a lot of workouts and just take a nap they do a lot of running and sometimes become bored so they take a small nap if they sleep all night and day there may be a problem

Yeah it is very normal, your hamster is not sick. My hamster is 18 months old now. Its 8am in the morning here in england and he has slept all of yesterday, all through the night and has only just got up for a quick wee, some food and water and gone back to bed! this is more or less what he has almays been like, but the vet says he is very fit and healthy when he has check ups.
I very often dont go to bed till 2 or 3am in the morning (light sleeper!) and he still has not woke up. But other nights he may wake around 10pm for a wee, some food ect and i will grab him and make sure he gets lots of exercise out of the cage, as he has never used his wheel either! Some hamsters are full of energy, others are plain lazy.We got the lazy ones!

Absolutely normal - or as normal as hamsters ever get. They are all very individual.
I currently have two Dwarfs. One is up every night, all night. The other takes lots of naps day and night, he'll nap for an hour and play for two for example.
Don't worry. Hammie is fine!

Recalling back on my science project in high school where I researched circadian rhythms of my hamsters, yes, a little nap is normal. What would not be normal would be if your hamster does not get up and about at night. That'd be when you should pay good attention to your little guy.
