You apparently have not studied the Bible and do not have an accurate understanding of fundamentalist christians. Christians are told not to DEPEND on good works as a means of getting into heaven , as good works do not remove sin. Only the Lord Jesus can remove your sins. On the other hand it is also specified inthe Bible that although one should not try to buy ones way into heaven that good works should be a sign that we are acting out the Love of Jesus and God. That good works are not required, but one should do good works as a sign of our gratitude to the Lord for his grace and mercy....passing on as it were , the Love of God.

fundies, fundies, fundies, you call other people dumb because of your own folly. aren't you aware that that's exactly the message you are sending? I wouldn't take even with a grain of salt what every fundie has to say.

Hey, wait a minute. I'm a fundie, and I didn't say good deeds would doom you to Hell. You shouldn't put words in others' mouths if you can't even distinguish between the simple words 'cause' and 'cost.'

Good deeds in and of themselves send no one to hell. It's when you do them for anyone/anything other then God of the universe that He does not recognize "good works."

It's belief in God thru His Son Jesus that saves one dear. We dedicate our good works TO HIM AND HIM ALONE.

Isa 64:6 But we are all as an unclean [thing], and all our righteousnesses [are] as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

According to the fundies, you're going to go to hell unless you're a fundie. Just get used to it.

No you got it wrong, they mean you can go on a killing spree, make some mayhem and destruction(kill, rape, arson, etc), but if you believe in jebus(Fundy®) you'll go to heaven.

UGH! Why must you twist things around? Of course it is good to do good things! But it is not what will get you into Heaven.

Ayn Rand would agree, although her approach is quite different. Read up on it.

Are u crazy?!?! We never, ever said that. You added words that we never said. Your twisting up our words. which was not necessary. All we said was that it doesn't get you to heaven. thats all. Go read the verse Ephesians 2:8-9.!!!
