I believe the 3 children in Fatima, Portugal saw the Blessed Mother and spoke with her.

Look up the 3 secrets of Fatima. She gave them a message which they related to Catholic authorities and was passed on from Pope to Pope thereafter.
The third secret was said to include something which they felt should be kept a secret until recently.
It is worth checking out, because the first 2 secrets of Fatima came true... and the third, well... you have to read about that one.

Go to the Vatican webpage and find the section on Fatima.

Joel 2:30
The Day of the LORD
28 "And afterward,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your old men will dream dreams,
your young men will see visions.

29 Even on my servants, both men and women,
I will pour out my Spirit in those days.

30 I will show wonders in the heavens
and on the earth,
blood and fire and billows of smoke.

31 The sun will be turned to darkness
and the moon to blood
before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD.

32 And everyone who calls
on the name of the LORD will be saved;
for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem
there will be deliverance,
as the LORD has said,
among the survivors
whom the LORD calls.

If most Christians believe that mess, they're more delusional than I thought.
Most of those things don't resemble anything, except to the people that see it.
The ones that do resemble something are usually fake or some random coincidence.

I think it can be safely attributed to the imagination. If there were a God, is this lame little 'illusion' the best 'he' can conjure up? And why would 'he' if he seems to make a hobby out of making it impossible for a rational person to believe in 'him.' Example: Creating dinosaur fossils to test people's faith. ?

Yes it's a mystery since nobody knows what these people really looked like. Photography didn't exist in those days and there are no contemporary portraits

I think there are lots of people who believe that stuff and some even make it an attraction for people to visit them so they can see it for themselves. Me for one thing do not believe that.

They see images of Jesus and Mary. It's fact. I am atheist and I have saw it myself. there is nothing miraculous about it. You can see images in clouds.
