Then why concentrate on Christ, and not on the Father?

Why is it that people think that, if we just READ THE BIBLE, we will instantly leave Mormonism. One of the big reasons I joined teh LDS church was because of how Biblical it was.

Have you been reading the Christian Bible lately? You should because you seem to be having trouble understanding the Trinity with all of your questions.

Christ is the manifestation of the Father's heart. I think we often use the name of Christ much because it's the most controversial. If I only say God or Father God many will nod in agreement, but if I say Christ many who would accept a Father God will recoil. So to be clear that I am not referring to a God as you may want to perceive him but in the context of God the Father and Jesus as one, I will say Jesus or Christ. It's just a short way of being more clear about where I'm coming from. Besides Jesus said that the way to the Father was through him and no other way.

Very good question..This a problematic question for many people to answer I know. The Trinity also teaches that these three persons are co-equal but the Gospel focus is on Jesus and Jesus alone for salvation. I beleive that God is triune in nature and manifestation. Iam Father, Son, and Husband but I have one name. The Bible plainly states" God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself" notice it did not say themselves. Jesus said If you have seen me you have seen the Father. God was in Christ at the same time his Spirit filled the universe like putting a glass in a bathtub full of water the glass is completely full of water but the tub is also full of water. God was in Christ but it was impossible to put all of God in Christ because as the bible says Heaven is his throne and the Earth his footstool.

There is no such thing as trinity in the bible the correct word is Godhead.
We concentrate on Jesus Christ because Jesus said "I am the way.................no man comes to the Father except through me".
The foundation of Christianity is Jesus Christ.

The reason is Christ is the only person of the Godhead who became a man and died to reconcile God with man. And God accepts us because we accept Christ. Christ stands as the guarantee that we will remain obedient to God just as Christ was obedient to God.

If you attended a gathering where you didn't know anyone, wouldn't it be comforting to know that you know someone in that crowd who belongs to the same community you belong to? In heaven, we will have only Jesus who can identify Himself with human beings and Who also shares the throne of God. What a comforting thought!

Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No comes to the Father except through Me."

Without Jesus in our hearts and lives, we would have no contact with the Holy Spirit and the Father Himself.

Col 1:15 Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before God made anything at all and is supreme over all creation. Christ is the one through whom God created everything in heaven and earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can't see - Kings, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities. Everything has been created through him and for him. He existed before everything else began, and he holds all creation together.
Christ is the head of the church, which is his body. He is the first of all who will rise from the dead, so he is first in everything.

Because Christ took on flesh, he is the new Adam, the sinless leader of all mankind, and the one mediator between God and man.

That said, once baptized, every Christian has the right to pray directly to the Father, the Son, or the Holy Spirit ... any time ... any place .. as one sees fit.

Let me show you what the scriptures say:
God tells angels to worship Him:
6 And again, when God brings his firstborn into the world, he says,
"Let all God's angels worship him." (Hebrews 1 & Psalm 45)

God calls Jesus God:
8 But about the Son he says,
"Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever,
and righteousness will be the scepter of your kingdom.
9You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness;
therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions
by anointing you with the oil of joy."
(Hebrews 1 & Psalm 45)

Jesus says that God is Spirit:
24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth." (John 4)

Jesus calls God the Father:
John 20:17
Jesus said, "Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet returned to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, 'I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.' "

Jesus says that the Father and him are one:
30 "I and the Father are one."

Jesus calls himself 'from everlasting to everlasting ':
58"I tell you the truth," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!" (John 8)

Jesus is in Daniel 7 as the Most High, having a separate set of independent actions from the Ancient of Days:
13 "In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence. 14 He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all peoples, nations and men of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed.

21 As I watched, this horn was waging war against the saints and defeating them, 22 until the Ancient of Days came and pronounced judgment in favor of the saints of the Most High, and the time came when they possessed the kingdom.

pal, you attempt to make god in 3 persons, enable me clarify some thing to you, God is a spirit because of the fact the Holy Ghost is a spirit, yet yet there is purely one spirit of God. God isn't, I say God isn't a man or woman & neither is the Holy Ghost a man or woman, they are the self comparable spirit of God, purely working in a various workplace or manesfestation of the comparable spirit of God, you assert that when 40 days that Jesus went to heaven, this is authentic, yet you apart from would say the very next day that the Holy Ghost got here back to stay in those people, pal you're incorrect in this fact, The Holy Ghost did not decend until eventually 10 days later this is likewise prevalent as Pentacost, & you assert that Jesus is sitting on the main suitable hand of God, do you comprehend what that good hand potential, No Jesus isn't sitting on yet another throne in heaven seperate from God's throne neither is Jesus certainly sitting on God's good hand, this is a term used to describe that each and every physique potential is given unto Jesus Christ. there is purely one throne in heaven & Jesus Christ himself is sitting on that throne as our mediator. you will detect that many cases in Revelation while John regarded & observed no guy worth to open the seals, & then he look & observed one that is worth to open the seals, & he replaced into like the lamb of God, & this is Jesus Christ.
