I need to buy something online, but I don't have my own credit card and I don't want my parents seeing the bill. What should I do?

To "Peggy K": thanks for your suggestion, I'll take that into account. To answer your question, I'm in university, but i'm not 18 yet. So I'm too young to have a credit card, and the delivery thing isn't an issue.

To "lilguysmum": thanks to you as well.

To "steve g": f*ck you. If you're not going to help, don't bother posting.

To "bdancer222": point taken, I don't literally "need" it. And as for your second statement, you clearly didn't understand the question. See, I'm trying to find a way to make an online purchase WITHOUT using my parents' credit card. I'm obviously planning on paying with my own money.

If you have a checking account with a bank you could get a debit card. It works like a credit card, but takes the money out of your checking account. You could also sign up for a Pay Pal account. You can transfer money from your checking or savings account to the Pay Pal account and pay that way (that's only if the store takes Pay Pal). Hope this helps.

You could buy a VISA gift card or something similar and pay with that too.

i was on the same thought line as bd dancer until i read your full question. go down to a bp or 7 11 and buy a credit card that you put the money into first. been seeing these advertised on tv. i think walmart sells them too. they are a visa or mc and would work online. another answer i got is have your bank have a card to a checking account or savings account where you can but your item with your check card. good luck

All credit card and debit card transactions appear on the credit card bill or the bank statement, regardless of when or what kind of transaction it is.

If you have access to cash, you may be able to buy a prepaid credit card for your purchase, but... what about when it's delivered?? Won't that be cause for suspicion??

In theory yes. You do not need to go into a bank to apply for a credit card.

First, you don't NEED something online. You WANT something online.

Second, using your parent's credit card without their permission is theft. Even if you get away with it because your parents don't notice your charge on the statement, how are YOU going to pay for it?

Hi, if you are interested in making a lot of money online then check out this website! It is absolutely free and incredibly easy. I have looked all over the internet for home based businesses and this website is by far the best out there. They have the highest referral payout of any other site. They deposit money directly into your pay pal account or send you checks. See for yourself, it's free!

Grow a pair of balls and ask them. If you don't want them to know, Like you probably should not have it.

Like grow up.
