The Brahmins depicted in our holy books, written more than 2000 years back and the brahmins of the day are totally different. The brahmins of the past era were indeed embodiment of knowledge, virtues, humility etc.to such an extant that they were revered close to divine .Thereafter they declined. Still , they have been encashing the halo of the past and exploiting the God fearing populace of India for last 2000 years. For fulfilling their greed, they have invented a large number of unnecessary rituals where they can make lot of easy money for nothing.. In present day brahmins, there is no dearth of cheats, dishonest persons, criminals of all shades and liars.Such brahmins do not deserve any respect at all, despite the fact that they are born in a brahmin family.

as per the Aryan tradition in India , a Brahmin was one who was involved in accumulating as well as distributing knowledge to all other communities in the society. It was based on this profession only and not on being born in a Brahmin family . This way a person born to a Kshatraya or Vaishya parents can become a Brahmin. However, in the modern Indian Society those born to Brahmin parents call themselves Brahmin irrespective of their Karmas or knowledge.
Now a days all human beings are equal and should be given equal opportunity to prosper and excell in time.

brahmans have misled hindu religion for ages
the structure places them at the top
all their misinterpretations have been glorified into unnecessary and unmeaningful rituals
they are also misleading outsiders
biggest example of this is kundalini(go to wicki)
it will seem like truth to you (kundalini yoga, awekening and all)
but the total thing is wrong
they teach how to preserve a snake like creature in body and benefit from it(rather get controlled by it)
ghandi jee had attained brahma by karma and his psychicic and physical existance was above brahmins
today a brahmins job is done by any one,as the older system of 4 castes do not exist.a brahmin's son can be a rickshaw puller
pls go to kundalini and get your doubts cleared

The word Brahmin was not there in Indian history and in the four Vedas. It is a recent introduction by Aryans to differentiate from Hindus.

I think we should not divide the country on castism.gandhiji was not brahmin! the caste system was formed for division of worl.Th ekahatriyas were meant for protecting people, vishyas were given work of trade and business, brahmins were looking after puja part, and shudras were meant for low work but in today's world, concept has been changed. we had many Pm like Bajpayji,Nehruji, shastriji, name some few.Yo devide country on name of reservation,is sin,we have to see the life of future generation, all reservation policies .should be thrown in dust bin!
