The Western Media has caused the west to believe in their point of view, and only giving one side of the story blinds the people viewing: that is almost everybody. It has made its "victims" extremely ignorant, and I am truly proud of those who see through its schemes. The Media has forced its viewers to believe that Islam is a violent, bloody, intolerant religion, but in reality this is actually the opposite. If people would stop accepting their television sets as their teachers, more people would know the actual truth about Islam. The Media reports misleading stories, gross exaggerations, inaccurate information, and false statements about Islam and Muslims to undermine the religion, and unfortunately, this propaganda is a success--many, MANY Americans believe everything they hear on the news or read in the newspaper. What they fail to realize is that what they read/hear is only one point of view of a bias Media that has been criticizing Muslims with false information vigorously since 9/11.

Terrorism is CONDEMNED in Islam; it is not allowed, period. Neither is innocent murder, suicide of any kind, forced marriages or forced conversions. These are all misleading fabrications composed by the Media. You can't always believe what you hear.

Terrorists are not true Muslims; they use Islam as a mask to cover up their dirty work, and give Islam a bad name. Most of them are only Muslim by name, yet are still accused of acting upon Islamic teachings, when in actuality, they are not. It is not fair for the majority of Muslims, who oppose terrorism and denounce violence that is occurring. Unfortunately, the Media will never let this be known, making it look like Muslims support these radical actions, when in reality they absolutely do not.

Because brother the media only cares about lining their pockets and making Islam look bad. If they were to show true real Muslims not those Jews and other fake Muslims they pay to act like they are or were Muslim go on TV and speak out against terrorism and violence then it would make the show look bad and they would lose money and ratings. What's sad is the American worldwide public is really sucked into whatever they see on TV and they don't use their minds to think about what they hear. Instead they just listen to the media and what they are told. Not all Americans are like that but the majority are.

Yes right I too couldn't get that.

But as far as my thinking goes I think that they generally tend to mean that its the Islamic belief that is asking them to cause the terror (In the US or the Middle East or both, I don't know that).

This has been the latest comprehension all around the world.
And you see..the world does not have the mind to dare to ask and question of its truthfulness.

This may be true, very true who says it may not....But who among those who speak like that got up to know whats the diference in THERE in the Quran that is blamed for having verses to cause violence(I doubt any Holy Book that does not,............. A Reason To Think).

If its violence its in which form? Why is it required?
Don't you see the Police Officers to be Violent against the criminals? Thats violence too. But should be judged and Studied why for.

Today you would find loads of Americans calling the War on Iraq, Iran and other to be a War for bringing Peace! If they could understand that I wonder why can't they understand the need of Violence if there in the Quran?

Now knowing all this if one Calls every activity of Violence of a Police, if you found a POLICE to be raping a women, as RAPE its just the SAME the MEDIA is doing today. And its our Ignorance that we are getting carried by these stupid and Baseless statements....Coz it tells we lack the ability to Question.

Because thats exactly what they are? An extremist being someone who takes their religion or beliefs to the absolute nth degree.

However, it is a commonly held acknowledgement that these estremists simply use religion as an excuse for their activites.

It's also commonly accepted that 99.9% of muslims are regular people who, whilst they may not be totally tolerant of other religions (or indeed atheists), they certainly don't go round killing them. They just tend to avoid them.

So, if these extremists are using islamic belief as their mainstay, then they are, quite correctly, islamic extremeists.

They use Islamic extremists to refer to a specific group of people. If they just said Islamic then they would be referring to anyone who practiced Islam. It is the same as calling the people who have blown up abortion clinics in the name of Christianity, Christian extremists instead of Christians. Since no true Christian would do that, and no true Islamic person would place car bombs in crowded streets or use children as bait to stop tanks.

I agree to a point, to use the word Islamic in this context is incorrect, the word used should I expect be Muslim, as these people identify themselves as Muslims.

To follow the Islamic teachings is in the main to follow a path of peace, certainly this is what I have been able to find out.

The problem here is more to do with the community itself and the way it presents itself.

I have worked with many Muslims over many years and have in the main found them to be tolerant of other cultures, welcoming, warm people.

The problem comes when things challenge what they are forced by their religious leaders to believe, the treatment of women is one.

The Kuran I understand states that all living things are equal (in the eyes of God), the parentheses, are mine as I do not believe you need any god to tell you that.

Therefore the treatment of women in most muslim societies is plainly wrong, enforced marriages, wearing of certain clothing, refusing to accept women as figures of authority, the list is endless.

After a time it becomes clear that although the people are warm and tolerant, the extreme views held are often not far from the surface, and it becomes clear that the leaders of the communities are often those with the strongest views

I have been told many times by people that are very moderate in their thinking from within the Muslim Community that they have been told that the only true religion is Islam and that they are involved in a holy war.

I was also told some years ago by a Muslim that I worked with, from whom I learned much of credit about the way of Islam about Osama bin Laden and the threat he posed to the world.

Lazy media coverage does not help, but nor does the community itself by making unrealistic demands, within the UK at least, and by not accepting that some of the things they want us to believe about their religion are wrong.

Maoists in Nepal
Naxalites -In india
Taliban(muslim)-Afghanistan
Irish Militants(IRA) in UK-Now days at low ebb
Khalisthan Extremists-Sikh
ISI-Pakisthan and POK
Media has to use specific name to identify the group of extremists.The above list is only a small example

I suppose it suggests muslims who take their faith to the extreme.

Because they are terrorist, and their aim is for an Islamic world, by force if neccesary. The majority of Muslims may be peacefull, but I don't think they would object to an Islamic world, no matter how it came about!
