I've got 5 weeks to go and want to make the transition of bringing the baby home as comfortable as possible for my 3 year old, he is aware of the pregnancy, always listens to my belly and feels when the baby kicks. We include him alot with the pregnancy just dont want him feeling left out when we bring bubz home.

I have three kids. A three year old, an 18 month old and a 2 month old. It is really important that you spend as much time with him as the baby. Make special mommy and me and daddy and me times. Make sure that when its mommy and me time, you let your husband take care of the baby and your only focus is your son. And same with your husband and daddy and me time. Another thing you can do is let him "help". When its time to change baby, let him hold the diaper and hand it to you. Let him sit in the bathroom with you when you do bath time. And make sure that he knows that he is the "big boy". Thats my advice. So far, its working for us!

Keep up the good work. Just keep big bro involved. Have him get the diapers for you. Hold the bottle. Also take turns with your husband having one on one time with him still doing some of his favorite activities. Another good idea is to have him pick his fave story that you two can read to the new baby.
