As a military wife, I support your service and recognize how stressful deployments are..and for many reasons. However, asking someone to thank you for not being able to have sex, when you knew full well what you were getting into when you enlisted is a bit childish. There are people all over the world doing without for far longer than 7 months, involuntarily.

It makes me feel like I'm not looking forward to the next 15-18 months without my husband also. It sucks but we can't be asking for sympathy from anyone, it is only saying as an army wife (or SF wife you might be I'm not positive) that "I am not strong enough without sympathy from others". Don't ask for sympathy or thanks, ask for the support of fellow military wives going through the same battle as you, no one else on this earth will ever know what we have to go through whether its being sexually deprived, having to take care of finances, the kids, the house, ourselves, or just trying to be strong enough for the family and our husbands. Hang in there, if you need any help, let me or any of the other wives know, if they are like me they are willing to help out another military wife in need. Good Luck and be safe.

As an army wife, so am I. Only for me, it gets to be more like 12-18 months without "gettin some"....
But seriously, thank you.

Hokie For Life, I totally agree with you, my husband is also in the service and we both have to be deprived from sex too, it sucks, but it sucks more when there are so many "so-called Americans" that do not appreciate the sacrifice soldiers and their families make, and like Hokie For Life said, this war was voted and the same people who said we should do it, are the same idiots that now try and ridicule the troops, and they can kiss my ***.

It doesn't make me feel anything. I can sympathize though. FEFI, ever heard of one? Ask some salty dog what that is, maybe it will help.
Regardless of what these other foxtrot uniform charlie kilos say in here, you guy keep up the good work, they have no idea what freedom is until they don't have it.

Come on mate, whenever the US Navy lands in Sydney they have a few girls in port, same throughout the Pacific with the Marines, generally there are very few fights we don't care to much about the ho's here and focus on English, Swiss and Irish travellers etc...

Like we care? You think you're the ONLY one who gets no nooky? Think of the men and women who DIED fighting for the freedom and safety of our country and other countries. You're a selfish, self centered brat. Grow up and be the man you're supposed to be. You make me want to puke knowing someone like you is serving (???) our country! You're a disgrace to the best fighting force in the world and Chesty would kick your whiny a.s.s if he heard you.

Doesn't bother me one bit. Uncle Sam never promised to make your 'Mr Happy' happy on a regular basis. It'll build character. In fact, it'll make you more battle 'hardened' than ever.
However, I do salute you for standing the wall. Be patient, all things 'come' to he who waits. (I couldn't resist).
Been without before for that long, but it's not fatal.
