Curse relegion in general is a curse.
Nobody has ever provided any evidence that any gods, much less a specific god, exist. People believe in specific gods because of indoctrination from an early age, tradition, hallucinations, fear of torture (for gods sadistic enough to threaten it) and other similarly illogical reasons. But no gods exist in reality; these are all stories, created for people who were scared of the world long before we understood it. Now we have no more reason for these superstitions.

Sometimes I feel Blessed and then there are other times when some Christian tries to interpret the Bible to their own way of thinking. What do you make of this: I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in Exodus 21:7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her?

I'll ask a similar question. If we were shot up with a hallucinogenic psychoagent that made our physical bodies useless and fat, but made our brains believe we were healthy and successful... would that mental slavery be a curse, or would the pleasurable (albeit fake) experience make it a blessing? If your experience is healthy and successful and happy, your entire life is seen as a blessing. Only from the outside might it be seen and understood as a curse.
[I'm not comparing Christianity to a mind-control substance. Hear me out.]
The answer is that it depends on who you ask. For Christians, it's a blessing, hands down. However, I've watched old friends be persuaded to abandon their close friends (me included) because we no longer lived up to their religious standards. Three friends of mine no longer talk to us because we've had premarital sex and drink an occasional beer. To me, that's a curse, but I'm sure he sees it differently.

To you the arguments might seem convincing but you are looking through your own biased glasses. Same with me I think my arguments are convincing for Christianity, but you don't, same situation, my biased glasses fog my vision. I never get tired of defending my faith even if people do not understand. It's like asking a husband if he is tired of defending his wife. Its something that is woven into our very being the minute we say yes to Christ! I personally feel like we should all be striving to find the truth all the time. If we all do that maybe somethings will change.
God bless

Believing in Christ can never be a curse. If you don't believe then you don't believe. I'm not going to argue with you because faith is a personal choice. The Lord has done wonderful things for me. What atheists need to understand is that not all chirstians are closed-minded, it is possible to believe in and understand altervative views and yet still stay faithful to the Lord. And your "convincing arguements" can only be convincing if you believe it.

Neither/both.
I am what I am.
If the world/you are biased it is not because of me. I am not to blame.
Why should the punishment for the sins of other Christians fall on my head?
Isn't it enough that Jesus came to take over/neutralize our sins. Isn't it enough that we are blessed because of him?
Why should atheists criticize only the Christians - why not everyone else each of whom believe in their gods - the Hindu gods, the molem gods, the jain gods etc.

True Christians are blessed by God and hated by the world.
"If the world hates you, you know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because you are no part of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, on this account the world hate you." ~ John 15:18-19

It's a blessing. It kinda hurts to be hated or ridiculed for what you believe but I guess that's just part of it. And it does seem like fighting a losing battle because what you're saying makes perfect sense to you but not to the person with whom you're speaking.
It's like being, i dunno, Russian and speaking only Russian and trying to discuss something with someone who speaks only Cantonese.
Anyway, being ridiculed and feeling hated always really really hurts but I wouldn't abandon my faith for anything. I could sit here and give you a lot of reasons why but it wouldn't make sense unless you'd experienced it for yourself.
P.S. If being an atheist is what makes sense to you, then more power to you. I have no right to tell you what to believe.

It is a blessing. Everytime a non believer says Iam crazy,or delusional or that God doesnt exist, just proves His word more and more. Iam truly blessed by my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and Iam also blessed to be a part of His church(the Catholic Church) that everyone hates. Yes Iam blessed

It's a blessing. Every time you persecute Christians you are just fulfilling the Bible.
Hate us all you want.
I am proud to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ as my Saviour!
Oh, also, if you don't believe that there is a God then why do you even bother to be mad at us? Kind of odd that atheists are mad at a God that they don't even believe in.

It is both a gift and a curse. You are promised eternal life and have a wonderful relationship with God. Then, Satan tries so hard to sway you everytime you turn around. Lust, greed, unbelievers that try to convince you to doubt a God you KNOW is real. The saying, "no good deed goes unpunished" must have been the words of Satan himself.
