My two year old son vomits all the time. Not because he's sick.. but at the times when he is in trouble. When it's bedtime and he gets upset..he gets upset to the point that he vomits. When he's in trouble, he'll upset himself to the point where he vomits. What causes this? What can I do to correct it? It's literally a daily thing.

Is he a nervous type child at other times? It could be that his spincter at the end of his esophagus (leading into his stomach) is weak or has some "malfunction." Or, it could be something that he will do until he grows out of it or he may always do it. Consult his doctor for sure because persistent or often vomitting can erode his esphagus, damage the enamel on his teeth and so forth. It is wise to let a professional give you advice. Good luck.

My son used to vomit a lot. I think you need to take him to his doctor, but don't get too alarmed if nothing is found to be wrong. My son seemed to just easily vomit, like the gag reflex worked overtime. He outgrew it with age, but at times it got to be a little annoying when he did it for attention.

Have him checked by a doctor! When my brother was younger he had a problem with the tubes in his ears and they made him lightheaded and vomit! Good Luck and God Bless!

He seems like a nervous kid. You should talk to the pediatrician about it. It is not healthy or normal for him to be vomiting daily like that :-(

My daughter did the same. I just let her vomit and continued to put her to bed and didn't give up and let her get her way. It stopped!

Take him to his doctor. Repeatedly throwing up can erode his stomach lining and esophagus causing ulcers, and other medical problems.

Years ago I babysat a kid who would throw up when he cried...he did grow out of it, but you'll probably want to bring this up with his pediatrician if it's happening so frequently.

You need to get him to the doc ASAP. He could really be damaging his esophagus.
Good luck and best wishes.
