I already was a nonbeliever, but now I know I was wrong. I could never go back and deny God.

God Bless.

Believing the bible has to do with whether or not you are a christian, not whether you believe in god... but... no even if I wanted to be an atheist I couldn't because I have had an experience of god that was what it was and I cannot ever pretend that didn't happen. However, I am not religious and I do not go to a church or need a book to tell me right from wrong. I also don't get bent out of shape trying to make people believe what I believe, or do what I do, because I know in the end, we all have the same experience. So anyway, I can't be an atheist because I have had a direct experience of god, which sux when I am feeling frustrated and wanting to be a loser.. ha ha. When I was religious, at least I could always fall back on saying maybe the book was wrong or whatever. Now I know a lot of the book was wrong, but it doesn't matter because now I know for sure god exists.

No,you're wrong. You didn't choose to become an atheist. You are an atheist because you don't believe in God,not because you don't believe in the Bible. But I noticed that you capitalized the word "God." That is a very unusual thing for an atheist to do.It sounds to me like you believe that God might be a possibility, but you find it hard to believe that the Bible,(which is His instruction manual for the human beings that He created)could be written over a period of 6,000 years and be inerrant. As it is written,"with men,it isn't possible, but with God all things are possible." Matthew 19:16
My friend,if you can "choose" to become an atheist, then you can "choose" to become a Christian. But really, you can't choose either.Especially the latter, because before you can make such a decision,God must first call you.And until He does call you,you may as well go ahead and get used to the heat, because if He never calls you,you will burn.

I like to believe in God and I always have believed in Him. (Do not criticize me, I am giving my opinion). If I didn't have God in my life, I would be a living wreck right now. I would only care for myself and for no one but myself. But, I like seeing others happy. There is a lot of bad things on the earth, but there is also a lot of good. God has given so much.

I've thought of being atheist before. But I guess i'd have to say because i do believe theres something out there that created us, I mean an ordinary average human being could'nt create Man itself right? And if he did, Who created and provided him with this world? Just some thought to think about. I dont consider myself under any religion but i accept Christ as my savior and believe in god.

I choose not to be an Atheist because I want something to believe it. Personally, I'm not much of a science person, and I was born and raised believing God exists.

I don't have a problem with Atheist's or any other religion, but if they pressure you for your beliefs or try to convert me, then its the person I have a problem with, not their religion.

I'd rather believe in god than nothing and end up in heaven in the long run. If you don't believe I'm not saying that it is wrong because it can't be proven but I'd rather end up on the right side of the fence.

I don't think I have to put myself into any such category....as atheist... christian etc....I think there is some type of god... I think there must be a world besides this one and a life after death... but I never go to church and I don't believe in heaven or hell... and anyone who believes in all the jesus stories etc.. is just stupid... learn to think for yourself... it is just mythology written by people...

Same reason that you choose to believe the way you do, I have a choice to believe the way I do. I find it brings me peace to pray, and I gain an inner strength that I do not normally have. I have always felt even as a small child that there is a spiritual being who guides me.
