I don't think so normally the "house brands" are those with out the fancy packaging as many of the regular ones.

No, this is not true. Typically the ice cream with less fat (such as the slow churn and skinny cow varieties) are a few dollars more that the more fattening types. But the good news is that they taste just as good. I recommend the slow churned in French Silk it is soooo yummy, it even smells yummy.

Price really has nothing to do with it. Fat is still fat, regardless of the quality of the product. Nutrition labels are really very easy to read and understand...look at the label for the various products that you are considering.
