Being born of God doesn't make you think like a Saint, but it should make you want to be like one.It is not yours or anyone elses nature to do well.It is something that we must learn to do.But if your doing evil and enjoying it then you've got problems and need to go deeper. For me I had to pray that God would show me how ugly my sins were.I was full of pride and it caused me to justify everything I did.I didn't know my sins were that bad, but after seeing them as Jesus saw them, woe is me!
Isa 1:17a "Learn to do well; seek judgment,....."
After excepting Jesus I quit most all the really bad stuff.I had almost given up drinking completely.I didn't cuss unless someone made me mad.I had a whole bunch of people praying that I could quit smoking, but I sure liked them Camels. Is this what your talking about? If it is go deeper, you will be so blessed when you do.God will help in ways that you never knew were possible.
Hope this helped a little.God bless you and keep on pressing on.
Phl 3:14 "I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."

Can't always go by the Behavior.
Gotta' go by The Heart!
That's what GOD Does!
Try the Spirits to make sure their "of GOD".
Spirit Beareth Witness to Spirit.
See, once Born-Again (Spirit Recreated) makes you a Child of GOD.
But, if you never Learn How to Renew your Soul (second mind) you will Look Just Like the World Does(sin alot), but if you die, you will go to Heaven, not hell.
If you did What GOD Said in Romans 10:9 and Meant It (no kidding around) You got Born-Again.
Feelings dont' have much to do with it.
Some People get Saved (Born-Again) and don't feel much at all.
Some do.
EveryOne is Different.

You don't know, in fact the Bible says....
1 John 1
5 ¶ This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.
6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
Remember the Bible encourages us to examine ourselves.
