Only if it's after midnight. For those that take place between dusk and midnight, you're required by law to hold your arm out the drivers side window with a flashlight. I've always found that a spotlight works better though.

Nice, it made me smile.
However, here everybody drives with their lights on at all times.
Ever since 1990 all cars are wired like that.
It is not a law, just an engineered thing.

lol, i don't know..although that's a traffic hazard and would probably lead to more funerals if people aren't careful.. I think their lights are left on, because once i was walking at night, and a hearse passed the jewish cemetery near my home..and the lights were on ..
