Mormon is proof that all you have to do is go out, claim you found some tablets, use it to create a new book and start your own religion.
To piece it all together: Claim Native Americans were really Hebrews who sailed from the Middle East, all the way to North America aboard a dinghy.

I was about to say continual revelation, but then I started to think: The priesthood isn't eternal, but families are!
I have yet to find any other religion in the "published world" that preaches any doctrine even remotely similar to the Mormon doctrine that FAMILIES ARE FOREVER.
Except for in LDS temples, I've never been to a wedding where the marriage vows have been "for time and eternity".
The family is without a doubt the best aspect of the Mormon religion.

Maybe its the fact that mormons wont go around bashing other religions the way the people that have answered so far want to bash mormons.
Give me a break people. Even if you dont believe in or agree with the religion you cant even say one nice thing. How petty can a person be.
Ummm how about the strong focus on the family. Strong encouragement of education. Disaster prepardness. Strong warnings to stay out of debt. One of the most succesful welfare programs in the country. Huge emphasis on charity and community service.

Eternal family. I would hate to spend eternity without my husband, children, parents, grandparents...that would be the real hell.
