If you were to only eat salads, fruit and drink water everyday is this a healthy diet or does the body have to have meat to survive. Thanks.

Yes you need protein Protein gives you energy. When I had to do group workouts (not by choice, I had to do them when I was in the military) I come to find that when I ate a meatless dinner (like spaghetti) I had very little energy for my workouts then if I had meat with my dinner.

you dont need meat to survive although it has a lot of nutrients most fruits and vegetables dont have..specifically protein. But by drinking skim milk and eating whey protein and talking a multivitamin in addition to salad and fruit you will be fine.

Yes, it needs protein. Egg white. Meat, the size of the palm of your hand.
