I think it would be OK because he's kinda far down the line. Just don't tell your family, because they definitely won't approve.

First cousins are too close genetically and it's illegal to marry first cousins in many states. After that, it's not really going to matter.

I don't think it's even morally wrong to date a 1st cousin(In the Bible it was okay.). But it's so weird.

a big part of it is if your family considers him to be family. if they do... then it's best not to. at the same time... keep it a secret and give it a try if you really want to.
