Well nothing lasts forever. Though I think people think of the "end of the world" as in the end of humans. Yes, like any other creatures, we have our time to exist and at some point we will go extinct. Sadly we will probably be the only species on this planet to make ourselves extinct.

As for the planet, yes, that too at some point, but I'm sure it will be around FAR longer then we will. We are a mere single hiccup in it's existence.

Yes, not today or tommorrow but in the distant future. Most likely after all forms of life has long dissapeared from the planet.

Life will end many millions of years before the planet gets sucked into an expanding sun.

Yes. The world as we know it will end through the destruction of Armageddon. The bible say in Rev. 21 that after the second coming of Jesus he will restore the earth as new.
Rev. 21
And I saw a New Heaven and a New Earth for the first Heaven and the first Earth were passed away and there was no more sea.
And I John saw the Holy City, New Jerusalem coming down from God out of Heaven, prepared as a bride for her groom.
Behold, the Tabernacle of God is with men and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God.
And God shall wipe awaly all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

I can hardly wait. He's coming soon. Are you ready?

The world will end in about 5 billion years when the sun finally changes into a white dwarf.

Whether or not we survive that long remains to be seen.

If we do, it won't really matter considering our technology would have advanced enough to easily survive.

Nahh, I think that we'll become extinct just like any other species, well, not now, although it could happen with all of these wars, but maybe in a couple of thousand years. The world will remain unharmed I believe.

Eventually. But people have been thinking the world will end soon since the second it began.

I don't think it'll end right now.

Eventually. It has about 5 billion years before the sun goes nova. Even if this world will not support human life any longer, it will not be destroyed. It existed long before we came into existance and will continue long after the time of human beings has ended.
