Basically what's happening is your cat had a bad worm infection and now the worms are hauling butt out of there. your cat can feel all of this and you have to imagine how it's stressing out your cat.
definentley change your litterbox out every time your cat uses it and if worms come out somewhere besides when the cat is using the litterbox, you HAVE to bleach the area to kill the worms. That's the most effective way but there are other ways that won't ruin your furniture.
Stay away from soft foods, that could irritate your cat more.
I'd reccommend taking your cat to the vet just for a checkup. It could just be cold, or it could be from the stress.
As long as your cats eyes aren't getting really cloudy there's no fatal danger, but I would definentley follow up with your vet.
Best of luck!

Did you get the worming medicine from the vet or buy it at a pet supplies place? It's possible you medicated for the wrong parasite if you bought the medicine yourself. A vet checks a stool sample (the poop) and gives you the right treatment for the right worm.
If you got it from the vet, you need to update them on the kitten. If you bought it yourself, the vet would need to see the kitten--not because of the sneezing but because of the coughing which I feel is the bigger problem. Especially as YOU feel she's very ill. It does no good to wait, young animals need treatment fast because they're more delicate than adults.

She might have a different kind of worm. There are roundworms & tapeworms. Round is the most common & looks like rice. Tapeworms are longer. You can bring in a sample of poop to your vet or just tell them that it didn't work and you think they had the wrong kind. If she is sneezing & coughing she probably has an upper respiratory problem. Take her to the vet asap. She should be fine if she gets antibiotics and the necessary treatment. They might not treat it for worms since she is sick and the antibiotics sometimes cause diarhea and that can dehydrate your cat so make sure she has plenty of fluids. Good luck!

She still has worms. Take her back to the vet, because obviously, they were not killed with the first deworm.
The coughing/sneezing sounds like she has upper respiratory virus. Just like a human cold. She most likely caught it while in the vet's office. It's not serious, but there are a few things the vet can do to help, so I'd definitely go back and have her checked.

did your vet deworm her or you used over the counter product?? there are lots of kinds of worms and the over the counter stuff doesnt kill all kinds - take a stool sample to the vet...
sneezing and coughing = URTI and Upper Respiratory Tract Infection - like a cold in people... very common in stressed cats... keep indoors only - warm and well fed.. should have dry food all the time and wet food (preferably Chicken and Rice 3 times a day (depending on age.. less often if over 4 months) but make sure you add WARM water to the canned food especially if refrigerated food - not more than 2 teaspoons of canned per serving......
NO MILK!
if you see blood in snot or kitten starts panting - take to a vet immediately - URTI is like a cold in people but can develop into pneumonia...

nicely, at the beginning- determine you're treating your canines in accordance to the vets concepts and don't provide any over-the-counter wormer, in basic terms the type that the vet supplies. over-the-counter wormers commonly are not sturdy sufficient to kill the worms and the eggs, the vet would furnish you with a greater suitable dose of wormer and that they'll commonly furnish you with a wormer after which you should bypass decrease back in 3-4 weeks to get yet another one. the 1st dose will kill the worms and then the 2nd dose will make optimistic that each and every of the worms and eggs are killed. i'd take your canines to the vet asap in case your canines is coughing up the worms, i've got in no way heard of that... commonly your canines will despose of the worms of their poop.
