So I fell totally in love with this guy, and we started dating. Problem was? He lived two hours away. We were dating for two months, and got to see each other a couple times, and we were both in love, but then he said he couldn't do it anymore. He was going to be moving down close to me in a couple months, but he said he couldn't do it anymore, the whole "not seeing me" thing. So he broke up with me. And now, I really love him still, and I want him back, and he acts like he still loves me, but he doesn't say it outright. What do I do? PLEASE help me.

I am currently in the same situation .. except our relationship has been 8 months now but we're 7 hours apart...

And I know how hurt you are .. but I don't think there's anything you (or I) can do but just wait it out and just somehow convince that special person that you need them very much.

It's all up to your partner .. just plead him or something ... but don't go too far, I'm sure there are million of guys out there that would totally be patient and stick with you for a long time ..

I wish you the best of luck

It sounds to me like he just panicked.

Either the two of you were getting too close too fast, and he wasn't ready for it, or he may have met someone else in his area (since you guys are two hours away from each other).

I am curious if you two still talk or see each other, because you mentioned that he acts like he still loves you. So, maybe he is confused. I would give it some time, since there's not much else you can do since he wanted to break if off.

You could also just come right out and ask him why. He may have his own good reason that may make you feel at ease. I would want to know the reason so I could know whether to hold out on hope.

I know it hurts when you really love someone that doesn't recipricate the same feelings. But you two have only known each other for two months and it sounds like you only saw him a couple of times. It takes more time than that to really get to know someone and develop strong feelings. Living in the same city would help. Otherwise it's like having a crush on someone. You really don't know what he does when you're not around being 2 hours away.

Start dating someone new, and if things develop with this guy, then you'll know it was meant to be. You want to be with someone that really wants you. Not someone that is mixed up and unsure.
Good luck. Let me know what happens.

I know it sucks and you are probably heartbrocken at the moment, but trust me, you will get over it and you must move on with your life....my boyfriend and I just broke up from a long distance relationship and it was so hard, just the thought of never seeing him again....but also, not seeing him "around town" made it easier to get over him.....so stay strong and move on, you deserve someone better....i can't believe he broke up with you just because you all are a few hours away, I mean, if he really loved you he wouldn't have done that to you....

You have to just wait. If there is any way that he can move down there to be with you, he will do that. He may have someone else where he lives now, as far as you know, and if he doesn't and really cares for you, he will be there.
If not, and this doesn't work out, I believe every love we have which doesn't work out makes the one that does even more special and precious.

say a bunch of prayers and get over him. He's not sharing your same feelings. It hurts.
