I have a big girl cat that has been in the same room with a small boy cat for about 1 year…..I know not the best size match.....they are both NOT fixed and I think she is pregnant.... (I hope).....she has been mothering the boy cat and just tried to attack another fixed boy cat that lives on the other side of there door.....she has never done that....it looked like a woman mood swing......what do you think?
Is there a way to tell if she is pregnant with out taking her to the vet......?

It's called protection. She is prob pregnant. You can check this by feeling her belly and you wont have to take her to the vet. It's very easy to find and in a few weeks you should know the difference

We bought one of those cheapie pregnacy tests for people and tested out cat...It said she was PG and then in almost 50 some odd days later, we had 2 new family members to our pride.

Sounds like she is trying to get with 'kittens'. lol
I know she is a large cat, but if she starts getting extra large then she is going to have a family. Don't worry if she disappears, she is in her birthing bed and will appear with her family later on. Not to worry, cats know how to do this all by themselves. She will bring them home to you.

Look my nans cat did this and she did actually become pregant. But you say she has been mothering? this is not mothering but flirting! You see i think soon your cat will disapper and come back with little kittens!

Well, i'm no veterinarian so i can't give you any hardcore advice here, but just watch her size for the next couple of weeks to see if she's getting any bigger.

check her behind you know her womanhood area and if she is puffy or wet you can almost say that she did what her mother did !!
